Even that is a pretty far fetched comparision imo.

Whitebots resemble apple more than tradestar resemble microsoft, but that must mean the dummies are linux, which can't be right.

I like Coalition for the same reason I like the Empire better than the Rebels: They are organized, uniform and widespread.

Coalition is the epitome of your generic totalitarian faction. They have matching armor, weapons, and tools. They even have matching bodies, seeing as they are clones. And what's not to love about their style? They look epic in every possible way.

Ladies and gentlemen, I will now step off of my soapbox.

Coalition is the best mainly because their weapons are better, they look kick ass, and they remind me of the Empire from Star Wars (they should of won!)
But my 2nd vote would have gone to the Browncoats, mostly because they are tough bastards to kill also their armor looks cool too.

Huh... I didn't know Apple vs Microsoft is such a big thing out there, as big as being argued to the point of being annoying. It's pretty laid back over here in Asia, nobody fight for each side too badly.

Aaaanyway, sort of on topic:

The Whitebots are sleek and smooth-looking. Selling themselves as high tech, elite technologies. Which is quite distinct when compared to other factions in CC. This sense of stronger personality and pride reminds me of Apple products (coupled with them being, er, white).

The TS robots are your general purpose robots, built for everyone, used by everyone. Their looks are hard and mechanical, even a little crude. Which I think is the opposite of the Whitebots, hence Microsoft products.

And that's it. Not wanting to start wars or anything.

Favorite Base Faction: Dummies

Their agenda is a bit more personal as the AI that started the faction is crafty and open-minded.
Also I imagine this sentient AI made the faction for its protection since it escaped the the Free Trade. The dummies have more to "fight" for than profit and a reason to explore Midas. The planet would be a great home should they acquire it.

Their light weight and armor makes for more careful choices; closest thing to a faction if I didn't make a custom one.

so, this thread, in conclusion:

If Browncoats had weapons...

Also, the Dreadnought is like, the only crab the AI can control properly. I lost so many meatpuppets to Dreadnoughts. :C

Now, once Coalition gets a nice dreadnought-style mini-tank, I will be satisfied. The only problem is that it would have to be more resilient than the Dummy dreadnoughts, seeing as everything else in Coalition is more resilient than their Dummy counterparts.

for now, Robots, A robot 2 is the only useful actor since the jet pack nerf!

Firstly, that is incorrect.
Secondly, why would the coalition's armoured unit have to follow the same supposed trend?

Search for Coalition Liberator in the mods, it's the closest you'll get to a Coalition walking tank.
