I've been enjoying the Undead more and more, if only because playing with Geti's zombies is fun as hell, and the modifications I've been making make them even more interesting.

Geti's zombies are very well done, indeed.

Not only a warrior, but a "samurai without a master"(浪人). The Ronin fight for none!!! That's why they're so rebellious just by the looks and the name. And I go by this meaning of the name, whatever other meanings are out there.

Has anyone ever considered respriting the Ronin to have a more Japanese feel? It occurs to me that that would be mildly epic.

Why has no one made an expansion for the browncoats?
I've seen expansions for dummies, coalition, undead, ronin and even tradestar, but not for browncoats. And they have a "monster that can take 30 hits to the chest".

Because Bubs said he was going to be filling out the faction. Most people don't really want to compete with Capnbubs.

That and it is hard to expand on a faction with only 2 actors. Browncoats in particular don't even have much of an identity scheme-wise. I wouldn't know where to even go with Browncoats.

I expanded my Dummy mods based off of the orange/yellow color schemes, and added in the bright blue circuitry from the Dummy Controller and ran with the art direction from there.

Combine browncoats with ronin --> problem solved.

Also that way you can kill them both at the same time.

Ronin's represent diversity/chaos/the human factor/erratic behaviour/etc. that's why I like them. They fit the game so much : D. My second would be the browncoats for being strong and big and then dummies for being the managable menace followed by zombie hordes and coalition is the last because they represent what humans shouldn't be, flavorwise. Also they are the posterboys and they already get so much attention that they don't need mine.

To me, the Browncoat light looks like what an armored Ronin would be.
And the Browncoat heavy is like a hazmat suit combined with a retro space suit.

Also, Tradestar robots are Microsoft and the Whitebots are obviously made by Apple.

Trade Star isn't even a faction, it's just the specification of the space station orbiting the planet. The company that owns it is called Free Trade.

Yeah I don't see any kind of correlation or hidden reference at Free Trade = Microsoft and Techion = Apple.

That's just looking too deep or trying too hard.

Or, simply going "Gray = Microsoft, shiny white = Apple"?
The comparison makes sense to me in those terms, though I agree, anything deeper isn't going to work.
