Can we do away with /item? Would be nice for this to be as little like a creative server as possible. I know we can't have mobs, but this is certainly not survival multiplayer.

I think the thread name should be changed in recognition of this.

Also, we need some way to mark out PVP zones, even if there isn't an addon running for this function.

With the //wand(s), we can easily make fences and mark out PVP areas.

Summary of the server's plugins at the moment, and their functions:
Essentials: The important day-to-day stuff, /tp, /item, /time, etc.
WorldEdit: Self-explanatory. Gross modifications of the map in simple shapes; spheres, cylinders, and cuboids.
WorldGuard: Allows protecting cuboids so that only certain people may build/destroy in them. Also configurable to deny pvp, tnt, creeper explosions, and lighters.
iChat: The colored names etc
Permissions: Keeps people in groups and restricts access to all other plugins and plugin commands
EekRunes: Provides rudimentary support for Runecraft runes. Currently only works for waypoints and teleporters.

Currently, most advanced commands are limited to admins, such as all the WorldEdit commands, however the WorldGuard plugin is usable by Moderators (blue names) to give and modify the permissions of regions for players in case an admin isn't on to do so.

/item, /give, /tp, and /tphere are disabled for anyone below admin. /sethome and /home are enabled for anyone Whitelisted and above.

Either enable /item or lets make a full-fledged jump to a PVP zone. With items off and no mobs to fight, the server is now lame. Creative Mode is too hard without /item, and since we can't do actual SMP due to hardware constraints, I say we just jump full in to PVP. Whos with me?

So did people get commands while I was gone? I thought there was never /item or /give or the worldedit bull♥♥♥♥. What's up guys?

Okay, I was confuzzled. I thought you guys got commands and I missed it.

Just installed a fix for the Essentials plugin this morning. It fixed the /help spam and lets you see only the commands you can use. It also fixed /kick and /ban (and /unban) for Moderators and up.

Minecraft.net is up, but I can't login into the server. It just says "Logging In" for a minute or two and then disconnects

It's intermittently down. I got a down reading when I did it.
