I ran into that in progress, but I got perfect sharpness eventually. And also had to change the weight to be perfect.

my mod request has been partaily answered, now all I am waiting for is meteor showers, blizzards, and lightings (or make those :P ).
Now on an ontopic theme, the weather works accordingly, and timely. 6/5 is muh rating

Id love a acid rain option, It would be great for defending underground bunkers. Also is there a way you can make a game option that will that will use random value in lua. When hits a number as (x) it rains normaly for (N)-(M) seconds preferably 120 and 240. If you cant a acid i think you should find the scripts in the acid thrower that one guy used.

Terrain rape reduction is pretty easy.
Add a script that goes something like this:

   if self:GetAltitude(0,5) < 1 then
      self.Sharpness = self.Sharpness*2/3
   end
end

With that code, you could probably make the sharpness fairly high before significant terrain rape occurs. Tweaking the factor would allow for maximum sharpness without touching terrain.

After playlin around with the weather (and makin my own) I have thought of this. Wouldn't it be easier and cooler if you had a T.V. on a weather channel that (by the user's command) changed the weather. Just puttin some food for thought though. :P

For some reason this mod has terrain rape, is that normal?
The normal rain digs about 3 pixels into the terrain, and that erodes the map away faster than you think.
