   |   Re: Sprite Help Threaddecent splices i suppose. not much to comment on; they look good
also, has anyone truly nailed prom's style? i think lizzy comes real close on small stuff but his shapes are softer and his faces (as in, not vertices) are much cleaner, softer, and drier. even bubs who is amazing is pretty dissimilar. bubs uses a lot more shades and has a sharp style while proms looks more soft like his concept art.

maybe lowest. but i think thats it. i think geti potentially

   |   Re: Sprite Help ThreadLFOW mostly uses cleaned up gibs :P
And yeah, me and bubs got different styles from prom, mostly because we've both been doing art for a while, he's been at it longer than me though.

Very good looking though, nice work. I'd help with an edit but I got restrictions right now.

   |   Re: Sprite Help ThreadHello there, first time poster, long time lurker. I would like people to C&C some of my sprites, and advice me on trying to improve them. I used the coalition light's head as a template for the head sprite. Thank You!

   |   Re: Sprite Help ThreadSims_Doc, that is a fine sprite with good symmetry and clean animation. Unless its design collides with the base you made for it, improvement is not needed. However, doing variations of the design is a great idea if it still bugs you.

   |   Re: Sprite Help ThreadLizard wrote: LFOW mostly uses cleaned up gibs Oh yeah. I usually start out with some piece of Prom's work and chop and clean and edit from there. I love the feel of the art style and I wouldn't be happy with the end result of my mods if they didn't look like they belonged to this game. I'm not a terrible artist, but I'm a far cry from being able to bang up something to Prom or Bub's levels, at least on anything I make from scratch. The Behemoth was my ultimate and shameless Frankenstein project.

   |   Re: Sprite Help ThreadWhat is the red supposed to be? I may be able to help a little. I am guessing it is part of the flag or whatever. It needed less shadow , less strong outline , and the red looked like a crap load of blood Unless the latter was supposed to be blood, if it was, good work on it. Red: No red: Finished:
