   |   Re: Mass Effect 3I'm going to go against the flow here and say Mass Effect as a whole is mediocre.
Other than Wrex in the first one, and what's her face, also in the first one, there was not a single character I could really say I enjoyed.

The second one shifted away from the first ones easy as pie inventory system too, I didn't like that either.

All in all I just really am not too excited to hear another one is coming out.

People telling me I'm wrong in three, two...

   |   Re: Mass Effect 3I do not agree with what you say, but I'll defend with my life your right to say itbut I can see what you mean. The game could have done with some more memorable characters.

Well, pretty much everyone in Shepard's team is memorable, so allow me to rectify my previous statement: The game could have done with some more (memorable characters).

   |   Re: Mass Effect 3Yeah, They're all cool, but I doubt I'll remember them and go "Wow, I wish games would have cooler characters like (Tali/Garrus/Mordin/Grunt)"

   |   Re: Mass Effect 3Garrus and legion formed the back bone of my team in the 2nd game. In the first, Garrus and Ashley was basically "The Team", No one else had that slot.
Kaidan died on me kinda tragically.

   |   Re: Mass Effect 3I didn't like the second one. I loved the item system and overheating from the first game, so it pissed me off when I'd run out of ammo, or wear the same armor through the whole game in the second one. And I always used Garrus and Tali in the first AND second games, myself.

   |   Re: Mass Effect 3I didn't like Mass Effect for its characters myself (even though none of them were decidedly bland), but for the gameplay and story. Plus, i always did enjoy sci-fi, and there's a SEVERE lack of good sci-fi shooting games on PC. So as you can imagine, i'm looking forward to the third, and what new shenanigans it brings.
