Re: Cartoon Network
Is Adult Swim counted as being on the Cartoon Network? They're on the same channel in both places I've lived.
I remember being scared shitless by CtCD, and I watched an episode a couple days back and lol'd. Adventure time is okay, but almost requires pot to be remotely understandable. I can only imagine watching it to laugh at silliness. Chowder, Flapjack, etc. kinda sucked, if you ask me. My friend keeps trying to get me to watch Regular Show.

Re: Cartoon Network
Boy oh boy. Lemme share a lil' story with ya. This oughta have been back in 2007 or so. By then, regular CN shows were downright unbearable where I live. But you see, there was this little "blank space" around 4-6AM: they didn't have enough shows to cover the whole day, so you'd usually get only stactic if you tried to tune in during that time.
Then, however, one fateful day, they decided to fill that space with anime. And I'm not talking of the junk they have nowadays. I mean the big stuff, Cardcaptor Sakura, Gakkou no Kaidan, even a bit of Neon Genesis, heck. Each day they'd broadcast a different show, and some good four episodes at a time, with no commercial breaks. That year... that year was a very happy one for me, be sure of that.

I remember Neon Genesis thingy was on late at night on classic CN. I never watched it, however.

Re: Cartoon Network
I've never really been a fan of anime, because most of the stuff I've seen was the same thing wrapped up in different setting/characters - well, and for the most part, the characters were almost the same. I liked Death Note until they decided that to replace L with a little kid and an older person who constantly yells obscenities at said little kid would be cool. I still enjoy Bleach whenever I'm not doing something Saturday night on Adult Swim, along with FMA, but other than that, my anime-obsessed friend tried to get me into a bunch of other stuff and I never really enjoyed it. Thankfully, the anime that I did/do enjoy is on Adult Swim, so I'm good.
As for Flapjack, I want to understand why anybody hates that show. Explain it, now.

Re: Cartoon Network
I'm going slightly off topic seeing as I'm not sure whether this ever aired on CN, but Ren and Stimpy anyone? That show was quite possibly one of the greatest shows around, just because of its weird weird humour.

Ed Edd and Eddy! that was my favourite show by far, and courage the cowardly dog was pretty awesome too.
