Please be more specific. What kind of error? What OS are you using? Have you edited the base files? What version are you using? Are you using any other mods? Are there any specific circumstances that cause the error?

Love this mod. It's so random and yet so gratifying. Although I wish the vortex effect on the Proton Collider was a light more widespread, and it'd also be cool if it actually pulled stuff off the walls. I'm thinking Spiderman 2, here.

Anyways, I discovered to my horror that not only can Tiberium absorb and recombinate all known matter, it also stops nuclear reactions on the subatomic level. If Tiberium gets to close to either reactor, it shuts it down. Kind of creepy, and so much for my BRILLIANT PLAN to use a Proton Collider as a Tiberium containment cell.

Also, I went into the .ini and deleted all the visual effects :twisted: Now it looks even creepier, because it's just an invisible wave of deterioration that causes the world to disintegrate. Runs a lot faster, too.

Glad to know you like it. I don't know a great deal about extracting particles from terrain, but I'll look into it.

I'd never tried this against Tiberium, but yes that does seem like the logical outcome.

Of course the visual effects would make it run faster, but we know glows slow down the game anyway.

Instead of glows cant you make it a pixel? Cause it might look better. And it would run WAY better. Anyways food for thought

There are already pixels. They're just no visible. You could turn off glows if you liked; there's an option in settings.

Not what i meant, Why not remove the glow and make the pixels visible then with trails. It would create a cool effect when going towards the center fromt the outside rather going out from the center.

It shouldn't take very much work at all, and will be a good way to get your first taste of what a mod's files look like. Start with Index.ini. Includefile means that Cortex Command reads that file. You are looking for things that look like this:
Code:
R= <Numbers>
G = <Numbers>
B = <Numbers>

and this:
Code:
ScreenEffect =

What you need to do should be intuitive.
