The Marine staggers backwards in mid-air; the .30 cal rounds smacked into his armor and ceased his momentum, but beyond that the ancient weapon had done no real damage to the armored soldier. "He's opened fire! Shoot to kill!" The air around the unfortunate gunner fills with fire and noise, as the two troopers begin firing incendiary rounds at him. At the base, the main gun is brought to bear and fires two HE shells. The UAV, after hastily examining the armed men in the cliff, moves into position to observe the flying boat's occupants. Also, moved Geti's flare as requested. Wasn't sure if you wanted it to ignite the ship so I'm leaving that up to you.

God damn image resizing, makes my turns look silly ):  Noticing it for the first time, the creature turns slowly and stretches out one of its tentacle arms. What is it trying to say? Does it want to be friends?  White lightning suddenly flashes across the prehensile limb, earthing itself in the robot but leaving the creature entirely unharmed. I'm guessing that's a "no" on the friendship front.  Now apparently angered, the voidlord rises to peer over the cliff, spotting the approaching walker. The steel spikes jutting from its back spring out in a twisted imitation of wings as it enters its battle stance. Deeper below, his underlings start to pave the way for their reinforcements.
