Well I read a couple chapters. So basically they have these jet fighter space planes that are sentient and bond with only 1 person or something like that. They're probably made of nanobots or something I can't remember. And then like the first or second chapter is them mating and making little space ships. The protagonist is freaking out like it's his first LSD trip "most beautiful thing evaaar maaaaaan".

And then I closed the book. It's basically a cross between Avatar and one of those maternity shows on TLC.

No, that's a different book.
Guess you just made a bit of a fool of yourself huh.

No really, I feel sorry for you.

A Series of Unfortunate Events. Starts of wierd, then gets wierder, and doesn't even make sense right at the end. Good books.

They were alright, but the fact that it just asks more questions as each new book is released and then never answers any of them really annoys me.

I quite like that, but I don't know why. I'm guessing you know that they weren't really written by Lemony Snicket don't you?

Well as he's a fictional character that appears in the plot, I don't think you need to point that out
And it doesn't really have anything to do with the questions not being answered ;)

Well then it's either Naked God or Reality dysfunction by Peter F. Hamilton. So what if I can't precisely remember the title of a book I read for 15 minutes? Pretty hostile of you over such a trivial thing. Guess you made a jackass out of yourself, huh.

And making a derogatory post about the contents a book you read for 15 minutes and thus haven't has a chance to form a real opinion of isn't hostile or jackass-ey?
Regardless I think this is a very silly thing to argue about so this will be my last post on the subject.

My favs are Dies The Fire(and the whole series of the Change) and, call me crazy!, The Twilight Saga :-P

Didnt have enough time to say the others. I like pretty much anything from Stephen King, and Dan Brown, i like the Forest of Hands and Teeth and its sequel The Dead Tossed Waves, the Hunger Games series, and one more series that i cant remember the name of. :-(

Do tell, why do you dislike his books so much? Also The Series of Unfortunate Events was good, but it constantly defines words that I already know (and even knew when I was within the target age group) but still, those books were quite enjoyable.

I dislike Dan Brown because he has attempted to fabricate conspiracy theories that are just plain out ridiculous, and possibly offensive to certain groups of people. It's highly likely that it's just a grudge I have against him, like wikipedia, and that the fact that he made so much popularity with something I despise only fanned the flames of loathing.

I see what you mean, however, what I DO like is the links to factual history.

I don't know why people hate Wikipedia that much. Are you telling me that everything else on the internet is infallible? I think Wikipedia is great and reliable.

YES. RELIABLE.
