Re: Art Dump
I'd suggest changing it's color scheme from white/green to more green with white armor plates on legs. Edit: Redoing my mushkin for picturewars, going to do steam age some time too, with more brass aswell. Also, put a sandbox up in forum games if anyone's interested: viewtopic.php?f=87&t=21144

Re: Art Dump
I see what you mean Lizard. After this was made, indecision kicked in. Maybe I'll just bundle it like a general shop item for the community rather than a faction specific model. Surely Promster is hacking away at his, and he may return to the one the big tank drawn way back during the early build days.

Re: Art Dump
I'm making a Picture Wars army. I originally called them Death's Wing, but I will now call them the Wheelmen. They are a robotic 'race' that travel on wheels. I need to make a better manufacturing unit too. Critiques, do your thing.

Re: Art Dump
Heh those are pretty cool, you should make some of the interior lines be a bit lighter though.

Re: Art Dump
Have been gathering reference images of various units from PWforums and I've already improved, I think. See lowest unit. I'll convert all the units so they're like that and hopefully figure out some kind of Manufacturing plant. I'm thinking a Mechanic or something.

Re: Art Dump
You should keep the outlines the same color. It doesn't really look good and it's like someone spilled bucket of bloom all over it.

Right, so more OUTlining, less INlines.

Re: Art Dump
Last one, then I'm hitting the sack. Front-view one @ top-left needs moar outline and speedy-lines need to be darker. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz......

Re: Art Dump
the wheel on the front view looks pillow shaded. I like the lines on their guns, but I think the red dithering on their helmets just hurts readability.
Oh, and for the sword, it's best to either do a really soft gradient (like, from your first to your second colour) or just use one solid colour for blur like that.

Re: Art Dump
After catching some zeds, I've improved the Wheelman Army via suggestions! Front-view wheel is pillow-shaded, I know, but every time I change it it looks weird. How do you draw a front-on tyre anyway? Now I need a some base structures.

701 on his vest, 710 on his arm? Also, the hand holding the baton looks small. Good job, anyways.
Mind, I actually kind of like the eyes.
