Re: RtD - Mecha
Played around with the mecha dress-up game for a while, churned this out: Some minor discrepancies; mainly, only four hellfire missiles in the lower launcher, not eight, the Nimrod doesn't have a face painted on it and it's much smaller and enclosed in a protective missile bay, and the 40mm chainguns probably aren't that big, but other than that, this is pretty much Razgriz. The little radome on its right shoulder is a wide spectrum multi-purpose radar/jammer.

If you only knew how radars and radar jammers look like...

>If you only knew how radars and radar jammers look like... If only you knew how to speak proper English. There are both portable jammers and radar systems which resemble dishes, ie, this. The most common set-up is a sort of curved rectangle, ie, this, but both versions exist. Really don't know what point you're trying to make. Plus, there's only a limited selection of gear in the game; if there had been anything with a stronger resemblance to a radar/jammer system available, I would have obviously picked that.

Re: RtD - Mecha
Would you care to point out what was wrong with my English I would be happy to know.
And there is a reason the curved rectangle is the most common, it's the most efficient.
I gotta say, you're really making an ass of yourself. The game that he made it in doesn't have rectangular dishes, so what? There's no reason to start a silly bickerfest over it, jegus.
Edit(so I won't double post): Silly bickerfest indeed, but I had no intention of bruising ragdollmaster's ego, which seems I did.
Point being that you made a snide remark with no validity in an effort to seem smart. Even if you had been right, this just makes you come off as an ♥♥♥hole. Protip: Don't do it.
Edit(once again): I didn't try to make myself seem smart, I just felt the need to point that out.. I'm weird like that, deal with it <.< (aimed at everyone reading this, not the moderators specifically.)
I also noticed something and I have to ask it to satisfy my own curiosity and nothing else: "Wide spectrum" does this mean the entire Microwave spectrum? if so, you could use it as an awesome anti mecha weapon as it both fries electronics and the person in the mecha.

Re: RtD - Mecha
It's a sensor, not a weapon. Wide spectrum refers to the fact that it acts as a wide spectrum sensor which intercepts radio transmissions, detects thermal/electric signatures, and generally monitors the conditions outside of the mecha (stuff like temperature, wind speed, etc). Keep in mind that this is designed to be a support mecha that fights from the edge of the battlefield; it'll often be quite a ways away from its targets, and thus, it needs external sensors like the wide spectrum radome to help guide its attacks. Basically, the WSS will automatically collect data from the battlefield, allowing it to track allied and hostile movements as well as other conditions like those mentioned above. As the special ability also indicates, the WSS can also serve as a jammer, which would disable things like guided missiles, automated turrets, and targeting systems for ballistic weapons. It obviously will not totally disable mecha, as that's overpowered and boring.
tldr -> The WSS essentially allows Razgriz to serve as a non-flying AWACS, but with an onboard jammer and outfitted with an armament of scarily large automatic weapons.

Re: RtD - Mecha
If it's like that then use "AIO Sensor Apparatus" for clarification purposes, (Oops, ignore please) and if you didn't know (though I'm sure you do) radars use radiowaves of the longer wavelength variety as their method of detection and could probably be jammed if someone emits a powerful enough radiowave blast but to make those blasts powerful enough range is sacrificed so jammers are only useful if you try to sneak up to targets from UP CLOSE and cause they don't have that much of a range (the jammers that is) you can't use it to hide yourself while trying to support from far away. Choose which jamming type would you like (I liked barrage :3) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radar_jamm ... ic_jammingAnd on another note, your support mecha is quite a powerful tool.

Re: RtD - Mecha
What's with using this mecha dress-up thing? It's nothing like what the mechas are supposed to look like in hyper's world, it's supposed to be closer to mechwarrior. Also it's kinda ugly.

Also it's kinda ugly. People want a visual representation of their mechs, and not everyone can draw mechas. So I'd say let them play with Mecha Dress-Up, it's not like it's supposed to be EXACTLY WHAT MY MECHA LOOKS LIKE BRAAAGH!!

Re: RtD - Mecha
Can we have some back story information? I want to tailor various things to fit it correctly, including a little thing I am doing on the side right now.

Don't you think Hyper deserves a break? He just finished 363 pages of pure awesome, and all you want is him to start again.
