Post B24 -> B23?
Hello everyone.

I bought recently Humble Bunble Indie pack thing (with cortex command B24) Did this because i fall in love with demo version of B23, and sometimes my friend let me play with hes Cortex Command and mods, so i decided to get my own.

My problem is here, that its B24, and there MANY of mods dosent support this build, and in my opinion mods are soul of this game. So i am asking is there ANY way to get my cortex command in B23 and in retail? Please contact me via e-mail due i dont visit these forums so often. Thank you :)

I second this. I bought the Humble Bundle, but I would like to downgrade for the time being.

Unless some generous person lets you use thier key or you buy a key you cant play B23 full version.

What are the compatibility problems? Things being referenced not existing?

References and scene handling changes, basically.

We will be merging all licenses very soon. In the meanwhile, email me at support :-P licensing.datarealms.com with a proof of purchase and I'll give you a key for older versions.

Scanny is so nice. But if a mod isn't working, then post something on the mod's thread, unless it's something like 6 months old. A lot of the more popular mods either work with B24 or were converted, and it really isn't that hard for anyone who knows what they're doing, so just asking for help will probably get you pretty far.

Well thread necromancy is a more ambiguous offence; showing there is demand for a mod to be converted may qualify as contributing enough to warrant the bump. It is entirely possible that this would be allowed as long as it is executed politely.

As long as the mod actually needs to be converted, that is.

And hasn't been converted already.

This is just an idea but wouldn't it be great if someone made an EXE. that turns B23 Mods ---> B24 Mods or better yet the game this very thing? but at this point is more of a dream.

Uh, it's not really needed. At all.
It's just a few simple things that have been changed, quick thing to do manually.

It would sort of be annoying to do, due to the data needed.

Actually general converter tools exist, we just need to update the database.
But some things from B23 are removed in B24.
