Re: Mission: [Coalition] Stratosphere
I can't get this to work because of an error regarding "Referring to an instance ('Coalition.rte/RevolverCannon') to copy from that hasn't been defined! in Stratosphere/Scenes/Stratosphere.ini at line 2523.

Re: Mission: [Coalition] Stratosphere
Either you're trying to run the B24 version in B23, or you have an edited Coalition.rte, a reinstall would fix this.

Re: Mission: [Coalition] Stratosphere
So I'm having an issue where these missions are not appearing anywhere in the Scenario menu. Apparantly they're supposed to create their own scenarios etc but they aren't appearing in the drop-down meny, nor are the new maps appearing anywhere in the old scenarios. I've dropped the .rte files into the CC folder (/program files/data realms/cortex command). Am I putting them in the wrong place? Is there an .ini I need to fiddle with like I seem to need to to get anything to work in this game? Help would be appreciated.

Re: Mission: [Coalition] Stratosphere
1. If you're on Windows Vista or 7, get all of your CC folders out of program files. 2. If you're on XP, then check that the folder isn't ready for archiving.

Complete uninstall, reinstall to C:/data realms/cortex command, new mission .rte's put in CC folder, no change whatsoever.

Re: Mission: [Coalition] Stratosphere
Try putting them in the desktop or My Documents. No need to uninstall, just cut and paste.

Re: Mission: [Coalition] Stratosphere
Nope, still not helping. Looking at some of the .ini's it looks like the entire 'scripted' and 'base defense' activities are missing from my menus?

Re: Mission: [Coalition] Stratosphere
GAScripted just means an activity that points to a .lua script, located normally in Base.rte/Scenes/Scripts
Now, either your mission folder is indexed or you haven't installed the mod correctly.

Re: Mission: [Coalition] Stratosphere
Seems likely. Last I saw all you had to do was extract the mod's .rte into the Cortex Command folder and you were set.

Re: Mission: [Coalition] Stratosphere
Nope that's it. I was thinking you'd done something silly like put it in Base.rte . Right click on Stratosphere.rte, click on properties, click on advanced, turn off archiving/indexing.

Re: Mission: [Coalition] Stratosphere
Ok, so it's Windows' fault. The CC folder is Indexed for faster searches, but not ready for archiving. I changed that setting and told it to filter that down to all subfolders, as I'd seen Weegee mention it before. When that didn't work I posted here. You mentioned it again and I thought I'd check the subfolders, turned out their setting to be indexed had been changed, but they were still ready for archiving All working now, cheers for the help.
