				  Forum Games subforum

If you haven't noticed already, the Off Topic section has been expanded to include a new subforum, Forum Games. As you would expect, forum games will go in there, including Roll to Dodge and any other silly things you may think up.
However, there is a standard of quality we will require, so games that consist of very little actual content like the infamous "Count to Infinity" archetype will not be allowed. If you have a question whether or not your intended game is content-y enough, feel free to PM a moderator and we can discuss it.
Some of the prominent game runners have been promoted to subforum moderators to keep a closer eye on the games than the rest of the mod team, so they would be your first contact if you have any questions or comments on how the subforum is run.
  Enjoy!

How long ago did this happen? Because I swear I only noticed five minutes ago.
Are you going to move all the old forum games that either died or got locked for whatever reason? As examples of what not to do and all that.

In general, if it has a story or some sort of strategy, it'll be fine. Things such as the mentioned "Count to Infinity" or any game primarily designed to simply garner posts, will not fly.
Anything like the infamous Vending Machine, PM a Forum Games mod. Since that actually takes some effort to write a response, it may or may not be acceptable.

That's because it was just done five minutes ago, or at least a very short time.
I don't really see the point of moving old games over there if they're no longer in active play, they've drifted off the front page and died.

I wasn't planning on starting that up again here, Hyper, don't worry.

Can we hide them as a subforum of Off Topic?
I didn't really have any problem with them crowding up Off Topic, in fact I enjoyed reading some of them, but I think having a whole forum for forum games right on the front page is a little embarrassing.

Yeah, I think they might be best tucked away in Off Topic as well.

Agreed. I mean, Gaming is a subforum of Off-Topic, and it's far bigger than the Forum Games.

That looks much nicer. The line of yellow names on the main index didn't look too good.
