 Re: Dubstep
My sister listens to dubstep, and honestly, that Skrillex thing you posted sounds like every other ♥♥♥♥' dubstep song I've ever heard. Especially the WAWAWOOWOOOWAAWAWWAWA stuff. I don't get why people like this...oh well, to each his own.

 Re: Dubstep
I was tempted to reply with This But macro replies are bad. In other news I found another interesting way to make a dirty-bass. Sample the first split-second of a snare drum, Forward loop. I've made a test bassline with this method and it sounds decent... tuning was a pain, and it lacks a bit of the punch I wanted, but I think i'm gonna keep working on it cause it might do for a decent track.

 Re: Dubstep
okay my last post of the day. I have tried one final time at dubstep. I have replaced my previous submission. Dubstep trance, Complete with pulsing side-chain thingey, and ye-olde stuttering trance chords. Unfortunately my bass wound up sounding more like some sort of buzzing spring thing. its close, but I can't seem to get it to have a good *bass* sound without instrument stuttering without the wub-wub effect. but anyway for those of you interested you can now have a glass of mork. (yes I re-used the name from before, cause I thought it was funny)

 Re: Dubstep
When you want sub bass try to use simple wave shapes, mainly sin waves. Don't try to distort it or you will loose alot of it.

Also, it appears it will take an infinite amount of time for me to get Skrillex. Average 0.1 kB/s.

 Re: Dubstep
I wouldn't call that dubstep really, It's more like faster trip-hop. And I wouldn't really call that bass, thats such a low frequency its barely audible. I'm not complaining though, A Triphop is fine too---edit If you like that, here's this - Aztech - Manifesto
