I don't think there are more people with errors than without, because those without errors have no need to tell anyone. yeah you're forgetting CC is part of the HIB and most people never see the main site, they assume CC is a piece of crap that crashes all the time and just play another game in their bundle. they don't care about this random game enough to post how much it sucks on the forums. they do complain on any other forum that discusses the game and they happen to frequent, which shows pretty glaringly that the current build of CC is terribly crashy. I've played CC since the title of dirt was thrown out, and can assure you that this version crashes for reasons that are completely unacceptable. OK, a high actor/pixel/entity count is a good reason for a crash. Playing regularly and crashing within the first 5 minutes for no obvious reason on a fresh map has no probable cause. B24 crashes not due to platform configuration. it is the game itself. if you do not crash you are not playing vanilla B24. nobody I've spoken to about CC said it did not crash regularly for them. the point is that it isn't a platform-dependent issue, it is consistent throughout ANYONE using b24 and is completely terrible compared to B23's decent stability. ♥♥♥♥ if I let B23 play itself for a day or two it wouldn't crash. MOIDs replace old ones to make room, it won't crash from that unless in EXTREME circumstances. I've never seen this, even with crafts filled with literally hundreds of bombs, all appearing at once. And if lag is ever bad enough to cause a crash, then you obviously did something stupid to cause it, and have no right to even call that a crash. |
