Could you implement some other kind of improvement for the level up? Regen is okay, but I'd appreciate something like an increase of sharprange or such. I'd suggest damage, but that might be too hard to find and edit the specific particle's sharpness.

There's not much you can do besides regen without using different weapons.

Elite just means that it is the most experienced soldier on the battlefield and it's shown for two most experienced soldiers per team. Elites are the best targets to hunt, because you'll get more exp for experienced frags.

UPD

Well something can be done using additional actors with increased characteristics, but that way this mod won't be generic and won't work with any faction. I can imagine these improvements that can be easily implemented:
- Infinite grenades.
- Auto-given generic pistol when soldier become unarmed.

Setting the controller state MOVE_FAST activates the partially implemented sprinting feature.
Maybe higher level troops have this randomly being set, and elites always sprinting.

HOW DO I MAKE IT WORK :(
I extracted it into the folder, start up game, pick skirmish defense, and the actor is nowhere to be found.
What have I done wrong? I really want to play this mod.
I have B24.

EDIT
Read through thread and found an answer, go to properties of CCRPG.rte and click advanced folder properties and uncheck "ready for archiving", worked for me.

Y'know what we need? We need an actual series of RPG levels, varying from the 'tutorial' levels where an old man patiently explains how to swing a sword in a patronizing voice to the OMIGODICAN'TBEATTHISBOSSKILLMENAOOOO type boss-ish levels.

and mabey if you level you get a stronger and better weapon whit bater damage and faster reload plus good range

EDIT: if you buy a rpg actor (special actors you make for rpg non-brainies) and a rpg weapon (weapon wil get better, bigger, strong, deadlier and scopier

Yeah I thought about that recently, but I'll need a spriter, an ini modder, a couple of betatesters and an iron butt. Something like metagame v2 but better I guess.

i like to be the beta tester because i can fix minor things but may find first some one els
and spriter no but i may think of cool sprites and for the ini no i,m trying but i,m not good for both i,m trying but its getting somewhere

EDIT: and if you use mapped lands and then have automatic implanted exp bot and not a exp+gold so ye hahah came up that idea when i was looking for a new map got boring and i,m trying to make a draw loose handed so i hope i,m soon done but dont acpact something good ow and did not know how to spell acpact
