A bang-up job in what mind? Finland did put up a good fight against Russia but Russia just had about 3 times as much soldiers as Finland.
Also, Finland had 13 tanks if I recall correctly and 17 fighter planes.

EDIT: Dang, ninja'd. Also, the wikipedia lists all the tanks while I mentioned only those that worked properly and could still be used in battle. Same with the planes.

People, a bang-up job means a very good job, not a bad one.

I had to look up that term as well, lol. yeah who could forget Finland when they had legends such as Simo Hayha. They laid such heavy casualties on the Soviets, but then again, so did the Germans because of the Russian's primitive tactics, not to mention the NKVD staying behind and killing the deserters.

I actually asked a bit around and most people don't even know where Finland is. Most english people, that is.

That makes me a little sad, that we can't understand rather basic knowledge :/

It's silly to think you wont get better with practice. Natural talent is veeerrry rare.

Anyway, more sketches
Enviornment inspired from TF2's Arena_Sawmill map.

Two sketches from references.

My scanner is, as I've said, out of commission, but I've found a trick over the past few days I'd like to offer to others. I do my sketches in colored pencil, and then I'll do another sketch of the same thing over it in a different color, and so on. That way, I can trace over details as I go, but still redo the whole thing if I need to. And in the end, you can look to see what kind of changes you've made, and it can help notice what you required a lot of tweaking on, so you can focus on that kind of thing more in further practice.

It's those hands again, madmax. The one on the barrel looks smaller.

Also that revolver made me look again. Like that apple did a few pages back.

Awesome, thank you. I had a feeling the hands were misproportioned but didn't think twice about it. Anything else?
