Re: Hey people, seriously now
Minor performance boost on my end. Nothing drastic, though.
Danke for it nonetheless.

Maps are generally bigger in B24 too, which might cancel out the performance boost for some people.

This should be in the op and added to every post: http://journal.neilgaiman.com/2009/05/e ... ssues.htmlThe entitlement of people here is horrifying, its like you really believe that those 20$ you paid for the game have bound Data to do your bidding for all eternity. I have spent more time and had more fun with Cortex Command than with many full-priced AAA titles and am thankful for every update because the additions to the game that was fun for me since I found it around Build 9 I think, the one, when the map Tomato was released, have been huge and worth the money I paid.

Someone gets it right! [Please keep in mind, most game communities I've seen have fans with entitlement issues, so sad]

Re: Hey people, seriously now
Jesus people, NOBODY here thinks data works for us, we know that it's not an entitlement of us to receive a certain amount of updates per month and we know that updates aren't guaranteed. We were all just extremely disappointed that he would shovel out such a small update and only for monetary benefit, I think everybody is pretty much over it now. Expectations were broken (horribly), and although he doesn't owe it to us to make a decent update it would be common courtesy, like how for a fine meal you are expected to leave a tip as a sign of respect, same thing, leave hundreds of adorning fans waiting patiently for an update the general expectation is that the longer the wait the better the update should be (the same thing also happens to apply to food, think about meals on wheels compared to an expensive restaurant) nightly builds are expected to be ♥♥♥♥ and buggy two year gap is generally expected to be a huge release possibly a brand new version. Compare the amount of people that have shown contentedness for the release compared to the amount of disappointed fans and you'll see what I have said speaks for itself, however look around and you'll see the number of complaints is dropping rapidly because people are getting over it.
Case closed.
