Killionaire has the right idea. Data, if you end up reading this, try to get a devlog post out once every two or three weeks, instead of teaser shots that don't tell us anything and jack our expectations into the stratosphere. Make some apologies, even if you don't really believe you need to.

Lol, anyway, a update every month might not be bad, even if your just checking in.

Go back a few pages (to like page 6 or 7), and look at the frequency of the updates. You can't tell me that it isn't a habit of 7 years. This is a recent thing (relatively). All he needs to do is get back to the once every three weeks schedule.

Im completely taken by this. Does this mean that if everyone requested a refund and used the non-key issue of B24 and played on as usual would the requests be granted, and would he understand how deeply we feel about this project when he clearly does not.

Im tempted to ask for a refund.

At no point has there been any indication of this. Data has explicitly stated plans for further development.

Just an informal warning: The complaints have been posted and there's little left to say unless you have some new angle. Further rage posts are subject to warnings and even tempbannings if you are coarse enough about it. Stay orderly and we'll have no issues here.

Going to have to say that this is an awful idea.
Putting up that link was perhaps the only good thing Data has done about this release, and abusing it like that would basically just amount to theft.
Protesting what is simply a moral issue with an actual crime is a pretty stupid and hypocritical thing to do, and also wouldn't really show us in a very good light at all.
Maybe he will capitulate to caring fans, but not terrorists who are holding his only current source of income hostage.

Hm Ophanim, rude namecalling and trolling isn't really motivating to spend more time in the forums.. also, If you had really bought my time, it would be a lot more expensive than what you paid for a license to a copy of the game. Then, you would have had legitimate reason to feel cheated by me not spending it as you think I "should". That's all I am going to discuss with you on the subject of how I choose to live my life.

What your time is worth, with your conduct?

They advertised "Massive Update" on the HIB2 video.

Not trying to do or start anything.
I am a bit dissapointed. Surely the update is deeper than just a new Scenario mode and fog of war.

We have 4 teams, fog of war, a globe selection screen, and limbs that rotate with the body.
I personally have not tried any mods with this yet, but I have seen reports of mods being broken, so there's got to be much more, and mission and scene mods are most likely broken as well.

Simple mods are still fine. My unfinished/unpolished ColdCorp mod is fine. Mostly due to it being only small ini Addons.

So the shitstorm has moved on ? Now the common folk can get out of their houses
Anyways current build have many technical issues, Dan should do something about it, currently its just not wort moving to B24. I'll stick to B23 till game freezes and crashes are fixed and map editor updated for new skirmish system.

Are you sure it's this build, or are you having mod conflicts? Everything is running perfectly over here. I renamed my old CC folder, did a fresh install and have been pretty restrained about using mods - no crashes so far that weren't errors during startup.
