The Revolver Cannon shot no longer explodes after 1600ms as in b23, even though the Revolver Cannon's description still indicates that it does. Very b22 retro, but I liked the exploding b23 one better.

There are landing zones built into every map. At some point there will be build zones too, and the landing zones will probably be more clearly marked.

There's also no unit lost counter. I liked that counter.

I think that having a limited landing zone is definitely a good thing (though didn't we have that before?), especially with a corresponding build limit zone as well, but I'd really like the option to build anywhere. Maybe have maps with drop limits dependent on where you place your brain? I think that would be pretty reasonable.

Have you guys noticed that after a while guys start dropping on your base? I think this may be a skirmish mechanic added for difficulty. They use to, in most cases, respect an area around your brain.

Edit: for reference I only play on full difficulty

Yeah, now that skirmish got an content-side overhaul, I think it's much better. It gets quite frantic on hard. I used to play on death because of that "Area respect" thing, but now they just rain down on your bunker.

I've been getting mixed results, the AI doesn't seem to land directly ontop of the bunker but only in the landing zone that the Player uses even if that zone is some distace away from my brain.

Has anyone else noticed Ronin actors coming out of dummy ships? It seems AI controlled dummy actors have dissapeard entirely from skirmishes although I checked the skirmish activities.ini and it seemed just fine.

Actors and wepons are much more of a mish-mash though, like Coa dudes using dummy weapons and ronin using coalition shotguns. Interesting...

Are the weapon/actor/craft combinations now totally random, or are they still predetermined combinations that happen to draw from many different factions?

Also, the dummies are still here.

Yeah, the activities are just random actors and random weapons. In the future, it'll change.

Oh, that explains why I was encountering Brown coat heavies carrying diggers and nothing else. Thank you TLB.

Tested the one new weapon they added.

Coalition high-caliber pistol is either overpriced, or the closest counterpart by comparison is quite underpriced..

It actually does a pretty decent job shooting heads, and while somewhat inaccurate, 10 shots and a fast reload give it a good weight-to-effectiveness ratio. Make it a bit more accurate and I'd take it over most two-handed weapons.

Only problem is that the ronin desert eagle outperforms it for a lower cost. More accurate, faster rate of fire, almost the same clip, same reload, 2/5 the price.

Noticing that a bunch too. Lots of actors with only diggers. Bug?
