That worked. I'm just wondering why the problem started in the firstplace.
EDIT: Wait, no it didn't help. When I restarted the game, it started doing the same thing again. I'd rather not have to re-configure my keys every time I play. EDIT AGAIN: And now changing the secondary fire key doesn't help. I changed it from N to B back to N to T. No change.

Oh, I dunno about "a few days." I have quite a bit of work ahead of me. Not the least of which is converting all of my weapons to a "dual magazine" paradigm, and hopefully implementing ammo types for all weapons, accessories, addons, and various kinds of customization in a nice flexible way.

Oh yeah.. I figured out a bandaid to that bug with the spontaneously firing secondary weapons..
Get a Darkstorm guy and equip him with any weapon with a secondary function.
That's it.. After you select him, anyone else who holds one of those guns won't be encountering problems.
Don't ask me how this works. I don't know.
Hopefully this clue might be enough to figure out the code that is the source of the bug.

Can we have artillery that isn't a grenade machine gun? As in, set down a turret/crab that fires mortar shells?

It's not something I'd put on a turret since artillery kinda needs to reposition itself. This would probably call for either some other addon to the oni (entirely possible. I think we discussed this in the past for a possible mortar) or some kind of new artillery unit. Or both. I wouldn't be entirely opposed to creating some kind of spider bot. I've been itching to use the name "Jorogumo" for a while. Though I'm not sure if that's the actual application I'd like to go for. It'd be interesting if the Jorogumo had a somewhat more unique roll. I'll have to think on it.
