Guessing nothing important happened then?

Tried a bit of weed but didn't get very high unless being high means you're a little more relaxed than usual and that's it. Suppose I'd better try a little more down the line somewhere. It was last Tuesday for those wondering.

Oh actually I was badly harassed by the police, but it was so traumatizing that I was waiting for awhile before talking about it.

I took 600 mg and told my parents I was going to sleep on the beach that night. Somehow they let me go and I went down to the beach. I waited about an hour and it was kicking in a little bit, but I was getting bored on the beach so I decided to walk around and go back once it started coming on harder. I felt the familiar loosening of my head and had an irresistible urge to continue walking, regardless of how safe it was. I walked down the sidewalk a great distance and eventually reached a hotel with a crab restaurant. I walked around the perimeter of the parking lot and suddenly it dawned on my that I was really messed up when I was suddenly horrified by the sight of a neon yellow construction crane sitting there in the field. I think this crane emphasized my loneliness, as I had an intense urge to talk to someone at that point. I, however, continued to walk around the dark perimeter of the parking lot, looking at the lit hotel that seemed like a hostile fortress many miles away, like mount doom in lord of the rings. I sat on a concrete median on the edge of the parking lot and called my friend, but it was about 1:30 so he wasn't there. I left an incoherent message, but I felt satisfied, because at that point I only had the desire of any form of human contact, even if it meant nothing to the other person. I continued to circle around the parking lot and eventually ended up at a parking garage with a lake next to it. I sat down and looked at the lake. Next I climbed over a metal rail into another hotel parking lot and walked through that one (This was florida so there were hotels everywhere). I had a desire to go in the hotel but I fortunately decided against it.
Now my memory of it is hazy. I down what seemed to be some sort of neighborhood street, and almost imperceptibly I stopped moving. I was just walking and then I wasn't, and was instead lying on my back on the grass in someone's front yard, looking up at the sky. The immediacy of this amazes me, because I remember no transitional period of lying down. I had no desire, and was probably incapable of standing up, so I decided that the best thing for me to do was probably to simply lie there and remain as still as possible so as to not attract attention. I looked up at the sky and it appeared totally, alien, and a great grinding, whooshing sound issued from the clouds, like mountain-sized slabs of granite being dragged across a huge wooden platform, but with the thin, hollow distance of an open car window on a highway. I continued to look at the sky, and realized that this sound came from the clouds as they were dragged across the sky by a giant system of scaffolding, which connected to the clouds by pulleys and hung from the sky past every horizon. This scaffolding brought to mind the complex rigging systems of ancient theaters used to suspend gods and other flying objects in the air, making them appear as if they were flying. Unfortunately, seemingly fractions of a second after I was able to enjoy this beautiful vision, the sky above me glowed with the cold, pulsating lights I could even in this state recognize as the flashers of police cars. I heard an echoing, robotic voice of a police officer start asking me questions. I sat up and, unable to respond, remained silent. Eventually I said "I'm confused" to which the short, fat, piggy woman responded "I'll ♥♥♥♥ taser you! Get on your stomach!" The whole while I had not done anything remotely violent. She shoved my chest against the ground and handcuffed me behind the back, then turned my limp body over, ripped open my coat, and searched the pockets. "It must be these" chuckled another officer as he snatched several packets of Mucinex from the inside pockets. I was shoved into the back of a police car, where the officers began to question me. I asked them what rights they had to do this to me, and they said that I was "loitering" or something vague along those lines. I realized that I had actually been lying on a median in front of a gas station, not a neighborhood, and the managers must have called the police. They questioned me profusely, then asked me what my name was. I told them I was Paul Revire, unwilling to give my actual name, and then the male officer sneered and said "I bet your parents are proud of you". After about thirty minutes of waiting in the car, and being handcuffed with no legitimate reason given, the officers pulled me out and measured my blood pressure, told me I had tachycardia, and gave me the option of either going to jail or the hospital. "I don't want to go to either of them" I said, and wondered if my "tachycardia" might have had to do something with being harassed by the police for an hour. I was driven in the police car to the hospital by the overweight woman, who looked at me before entering the car with a stare of horribly pure malice, although I had done nothing whatsoever to threaten or insult her. I greatly enjoyed the ride in the police car, still enjoying the effects of the drug despite the horrible situation I was in. When we reached the hospital, I told the officer, "nice to meet you" and was escorted inside. Inside the hospital all of my clothes were taken away and I was put in a gown and on a hospital bed. I saw no reason for this, so I walked over to a chair, and sat in the hallway and talked to a clearly exhausted police officer stationed there. I drew on some of the colloquial skills the drug had given me and had a very sad conversation with him about how this incident was unnecessary and had ruined my future, and I think legitimately made him feel rather bad. Eventually a grey haired man walked up and asked me for my parents number, informing me I would have to stay in the hospital for three days if I did not tell him. I gave in and told him, and a nurse entered, put me back into the bed, and hooked me up on a saline drip. I talked to the nurses, trying to distract my mind from my parents coming. When my parents came, the first actual pain of the incident dawned on me. They drove me home and took away my drivers license for an indefinite period, saying that they could not trust me anymore.

My parents caught me smoking a fresh pickup of an ounce about 2 months back.
Nothing happened, save for the confiscation of my bong and weed.
They joke about it to this day.

Did I mention that I got stoned with my old man?

I got my first chance to hang out with a fresh stoner, Dalton, in band at school today. Kinda wierd, he said he did it last night, and that he remembers doing something other than weed, but not what. His eyes were bloodshot, and he acted pretty stoned, could the effects have lasted through the night on him? I felt like that the day after my first time, as well. Normal, or what?

ALSO: Audiosurf - eagerly anticipated by me and company, for the next time we get stoned.

Yeah, that's pretty normal. I get small relapses every once in a while, it's called being burnt. They don't last for long, nor are they very strong. Other common side effects I've noticed for the days after a joint:
Drowsiness
Slight dizziness
Short term memory loss (anything from where you left the keys, to what day it is, to how you got where you are)
Bloodshot eyes

These all fade away as time goes on, and their strength is directly related to how much you smoked. (Duh..)
My reccomendation is to make sure you don't have anything important to do the next day either,
but hey, that's just me.

EDIT: Not sure you want to be playing the game SERIOUSLY, (I'm sure you're not) but music is ALWAYS a good idea when high on weed. ;)

I heard hash isn't the same as weed. As in, they're both marijuana, just in different forms. Verify?

Hash is a very concentrated extraction of weed where you take the plant and extract its resin with a solvent like isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) then you filter out the plant material and evaporate the alcohol, leaving behind a small quantity of a thick, tar-like residue. This residue is hash, and contains the THC and other chemicals present in weed at a much higher density.

Close. That's only one kind of hash, iso-hash, and imo is more of an oil than true hash. Hash is generally made with ice water and a series of strainers, the goal being to knock the trichomes off of the plant. The trichs are then compressed to make a solid, doughy, sticky smokable product. Some grinders have what is called a kief catcher, which is a screen that the ground bud drops onto, and the kief (or trichomes) falls through. You can clean your grinder and press this stuff to make hash. Another type is known as scissor hash, which is sticky goodness scraped off of scissors used to trim your bud. There are more types than this, but you get the basic idea.

Now, the difference between hash and oil is its relative solidity. A common oil, BHO, or butane honey oil, is made by packing bud into a metal tube like a pipe bomb, with a cap with a hole on one end and a screen on the other. You hold it screen side down, and pump butane into it. Liquid butane (and it comes out of the can liquid if you hold it upside down) is a fairly powerful solvent, and will strip the goodness right off the bud. You let it drip onto a flat, wide piece of glass (something to corral it, such as a thin strip of metal covered with teflon or something to reduce stickiness would be a good idea) and let the butane evaporate. I suppose at this point I should point out that it is a really, really, really, REALLY ♥♥♥♥ bad idea to do this inside, or anywhere near a flame of any kind. You can and will kill yourself if you do this inside. Anyway, let that ♥♥♥♥ dry, and you'll have some nice, concentrated BHO.
It gets its name from the colour!

I'm unsure whether to be mildly disappointed or not. I went camping this weekend and some friends brought some weed. Needless to say we smoked it and they all got pretty high, whereas I only got a bit more chilled out and enjoyed the scenery more. It wasn't bad (I enjoyed it quite a lot) but unless I'm doing something wrong I'm not sure why I didn't get as high as everyone else. Differing tolerance or something?
