Expanision pack, dlc, extension pack w/e. It costs ya money if you haven't bought it before the 22nd.

Not necessarily. Minecraft became a cult classic overnight, but it's not like EVERYONE knows about it. It is extremely popular for an indie game, but the popularity will continue to steadily grow as more features are implemented into the game. People who didn't buy it because they felt the game lacked content could be drawn into buying it with the addition of stuff like adventure mode.

Re: Minecraft Survival Multiplayer Server
I believe the game absolutely peaked during the summer, from now on it's inevitable that the enthusiasm around minecraft, and therefore the sales/profit, goes down.

Re: Minecraft Survival Multiplayer Server
I'd go with that summary. Pretty much anyone who has any connection to the internet at all has seen Minecraft at some point by now, so anyone who would give it a try and/or like it has already done so.

Re: Minecraft Survival Multiplayer Server
so people are still buying it slowly but surely, about 6000 a day. that's like $90,000 (US) a day. im guessing that notch will put all of that money into the bank to let the game run for years and years with updates trickling in. i think the game will be fine, and notch will be rich.

Re: Minecraft Survival Multiplayer Server
Regardless of when you buy then game it is yours and you will NOT have to buy the game again once it is complete. However, those who buy the game during alpha will not have to pay anything for future expansions (if any). The reason for this is the promise Notch made to alpha customers about all future updates being included. And no, simply adding content and recipes is not considered "expansion" in the Mojang world.
That was posted on the official Facebook page.

Re: Minecraft Survival Multiplayer Server
My server went down for a little.
I kicked my buddy then he counterattacked with a bluescreen.
Then, we went around exploring the world with 1/4 of all its chunks misplaced and blew ♥♥♥♥ up.
Back it's back to normal now.

Re: Minecraft Survival Multiplayer Server
foil's server is timing out. cant join. people need to get onto whitty's.
also, i vote for whitty's server being the creative one, while foil's is more the "legit"
also, somebody needs to turn monsters on. how else am i supposed to release my impotent teenage angst?
playing black ops?
please.
