Re: Killing Floor
OH MAN Me n pete n this other guy, we like, got to the last wave (11) on normal, biotics lab. Pete died early in the wave by some explosive. I died a bit after, thanks to misplaced pipe bombs and me thinking it was wave 10 and not 11, thus allowing the patriarch to one hit ko punch me :/ This other guy died aswell, thanks to misplaced explosive shells... Was fun tho.

Re: Killing Floor
Yeah, we got to see the patriarch round the corner, and we were all like 'man we gonna own dis ♥♥♥♥♥' and then I explode.
It was somewhat annoying, but lulzy at the same time, I guess.

Re: Killing Floor
It says right on the top of the page I linked to.
Dec 14 to Jan 4.
The new map will stay around after the event, along with playable Santa if you unlock him, but the special zed skins and xmas achievements will be unavailable after Jan 4, until next xmas. (According to a game dev on the TWI forums.)

Re: Killing Floor
Just have one guy go Berserker and get the last couple specimens chasing him, while the other guy/s goes/go support and unweld/s for a long while. Or toss ~550 hand grenades at the door. For the other potato that you buy from the shop, play beginner long with someone, don't kill the last 7 specimens, (other numbers work too, but 7 seemed to have worked best) and roam the map, scavenging guns, depositing them in a pile outside the trader door. Once you've got a pile as big as you'll be able to sell within the 1:30 trader time, finish the wave, sell it all, repeat. This took about 2 hours with two people when I did it. Might want mics and something to have a conversation about. More people might help, but be sure you use the whitelisted no-player-collisions-during-trader-time mutator active, or use a map with big/multiple trader doorways.

Re: Killing Floor
Halloween update inbound.
It's halfway a rehash of the summer festival update, so it's nothing too big or exciting. You can unlock a chicken character, though.

I wonder what if the Christmas update will be the same as last year's.

Re: Killing Floor
They seemed to have been hinting that it would be coming back, so I doubt they'll do something entirely different from the last one.

Re: Killing Floor
Nonetheless, Tripwire is taking good care of its games well after their release, and Im happy enough for that.

Re: Killing Floor
Yeah, they've been pretty good about continued updates. But personally I would rather buy a sequel than get more "this is what we could afford to do without charging you" updates.
