No brutal wars yet. Only had a few gobbos attack in an ambush so far. Half caged, half killed.
The caged ones went in my puppy drowning chamber.

And it's not that odd that the puppy dying is etched... if you knew the magnitude of puppies I've been 'washing'.
I think the "falling" is when he gets thrown into the drowning chamber.

I decided to go and play the version of DF Boatmurdered was in. Less for Boatmurdered and more the 2d. So far it's early summer, had one cavein, mining out bedrooms, got a axearmed militia, and am rereading Boatmurdered.

EDIT : NOOOOOOOOO! In the first fort that actually made it past the second year, I have no goblins! Or humans. But I'd just kill them to make them siege me.

My 8 zombie mandrills just ambushed an elf caravan.
A few months later the mandrills got killed by dwarven caravan guards, but a new pack of 10 zombie mandrills came.
So how's your day going?

I decided to attack the dwarven caravan to test my military strength on things other than Hoary Marmots. My military died.

If you want to test amuse your military dorfs, kill the elves.
Also, you should never ever ever be hostile against fellow mountain-dwellers.
