I got the key way back at the dwarf fortress. It's probably the only way of opening a sacred case of booze. Plus, this door has no keyhole.

A -2 means I CANT get a five on my roll. That's pretty bad.
I think I need my hand freaking healed up before we do this shite. I mean honestly, I've just been rolling really badly.

Maybe try a reverse tactic, use the negative modifiers for your own good like:

or
>> Give my hand pyromanic treatment (burn it even more)
if you get a 1 with those (pretty high odds) then it will get healed for the type of damage you were trying to deal to them, don't you think so?
Yes I am aware this will NEVER work and hyper will give you a 7 for your roll if you try it but still, it's funny as hell in theory xD

Roll a 1, and there will be negative effects. Roll a 2, and it will fail.
There is no way that your plan can work.

Hyper, what roller are you using?

If it's not this one: http://www.random.org/dice/ then you really need to start using it. Any other dice roller produces predicable results, in a pattern. Random.org uses atmospheric interference to generate numbers.

It's true random.
