   |   Wallhacking in MinecraftSo I was digging a straight tunnel for about hours until end till I would finally find a cave. This kinda gets a little frustrating so I can up with a little Idea of my own... So I got into the Terrain file and edited the stone face and made it transparent with an outline and well... You could say I know where im going now.. Epic Sunset to the west! I found out it was MUCH easier this way and Lighting wasnt a problem at all, I dont plan to play like this the entire time now as it kinda defeats the fun of trying to find caves and running into a steaming pile of Lava that you would fall into and lose your Diamond Pickaxe and other valuables. Ofcourse there are strategies to avoid that but I just wanted to test this out. Any thoughts?

   |   Re: 'Cheating' in MinecraftI find having a texture like this that I can just switch from and to when I had the server was quite handy. Btw you might wanna change thread title to 'wallhacking in minecraft' I can't help but think how easy it would be for notch to turn off transparency on the blocks that don't have transparency

   |   Re: 'Cheating' in MinecraftI use a sand/gravel glitch that allows you to see through walls, 'cause I don't feel like messing around with the textures.

   |   Re: Wallhacking in MinecraftPlaying like this I found its much easier to find Ores and Dungeons. Also Mobs are easily noticed this way too.
Ima play more of this and mine to all the caves and then change it back and then properly Explore the caves.

OT: This came up to me once, but I didn't think about giving the blocks an edge, now that is Minecraft on hardcore mode. YOU'LL HAVE NO ♥♥♥♥ CLUE WHERE YOU'RE GOING!

   |   Re: Wallhacking in MinecraftDoesn't that take away like half the fun of Minecraft? Why don't you just have programs that automatically build things for you?

   |   Re: Wallhacking in MinecraftConsidering that the closest line of blockes are a tad bit slanted indicates that the only way its pointing is down but by how MASSIVE that tunnel is, its quite disorienting isnt it?
