Post Error, then another error, then game crash.
Hai, so ive looked around the forums for a bit and i cant really find much detailing why i am unable to start CC, prett keen to play this too.
Anyway, I have gone into the settings config file, and changed the fullscreen resolution to my actual screen resolution, but it still comes up with the same errors.

After double clicking Cortex Command.exe:

Then after clicking ok:

Then after clicking ok again:

Anyone aware of a fix for this?
Also, my audio driver is not installed, if anyone thinks this is the cause, I will go into detail about it.
Thanks in advance :)

I've heard this can cause CC to just not work, for not discernible reason.

Thanks for the reply :)
You were right; I transplanted a sound card from another computer to see if it would work (No sound was giving me the shits anyway) and after a fresh install, huzzah! It works :D
Thanks again ^^

Oh one more question, ive noticed the game moves a bit slow, slower than videos I've watched, any advice you can give to bring it up to speed? This computer is kinda shitty, but nyeh. Its also installed to the desktop :)

See if this will help you any.

Also, just a minor thing, no need to manually insert a signature. We have signatures installed but disabled by default. The option to turn them on is in your UCP. Some people might also find it annoying if they want signatures off but you manually insert them right into your post.

And he's a she. Jussayin.

ALSO, to explain those errors in case they come up in the future.

1. CC was trying to run a resolution your monitor doesn't support, weither fullscreen or windowed.
2. CC was having trouble with a sound, Menuenter.wav. Obviously your sound driver thing fixed this, but if it comes up again when you install mods or stuff it's because it can't find the item specified, usually because someone misstyped something.
3. CC is trying to close, but it has an error in the close loop. This is normal for win-7 users.

It's important to note that no loading Menuenter.wav almost always means you're missing sound drivers or your sound drivers are busy with something else at the time.

Having the game crash due to lack off sound drivers was idiotic from data though.
