   |   Re: Dwarf-DRL FortressI Gave everyone in my fort 4x4 rooms. Mostly to sort out 2 needs at once.
The demand for ore and the demand for additional housing.

   |   Re: Dwarf-DRL FortressSo I've been thinking of making a colossal execution tower when my next turn rolls around. Maybe decorated with a shitload of Platinum statues. Would anyone protest?

   |   Re: Dwarf-DRL FortressI can think of better places to put shitloads of platinium statues to.Adittionally, with the amount of ore we have, I'd prefer a pump stack down to magma rather than a tower upwards.

How about this; Executiona pit, maybe just 3 Z deep or so, but at the bottom of the pit are upright steel spears and 3 or 4 magma per tile.

But uh yeah, I don't really see the point in a tower. I do understand the lolxd value, but... just no.
Also I think it's been done more than once.

Pretty sure the new version won't break anything. Everyone update.

   |   Re: Dwarf-DRL FortressHey guys, I've done a little work on your fortress. Dont want this thing to die, sorry for taking a turn w/out permission, etc. I've put down a bunch of craftsdwarf workshops to take up the idle dwarves. I've designated a bunch of stuff to be dug I've made some traps at the entrance Merchants have been and gone but they were elves so its all good. there was an ambush, leading to the loss of our beloved torchdrunken. If you are not going to play, do not say you are going to play.

Also, better logging. One post does not cut it.
