Bug fix =/= secret

Whitty, the problem IS McAdmin.

I hate to keep repeating myself guys but my issue has to be related to the other issues with the server. Honestly, it's the only server I can't get on to. I don't expect you to try to trouble shoot something JUST for me, but I do miss hanging out on the server and I'm sure its part of the bigger picture of issues the server is having. Sorry if I sound demanding, I don't mean to, I know fixing the server so it works for me isnt the biggest priority. Hope you're all doing well.

Worldwriter, you aren't the only one afflicted with bugs. I can't pick anything up, unbanning obviously isn't working right, the server is laggy, and McAdmin kicks people randomly for hacking. You're preaching to the choir here. Whitty's the only one who can do anything about it, and he's refusing to switch over to a server that isn't batshit insane, such as Hey0, which both Duh and I have been recommending he do.
Whitty, suck it up and switch to Hey0 or something. You don't need a GUI to run a server. Just have Duh walk you through it or something, because this is retarded. Also, Notch released some updates to the server, you'll want to install those if you haven't already.

The ZMA + Hey0 combination I posted a few pages back worked fine for dragonXP, and he got it running without my help (I helped a little after he got it running, but that's it). I can make an updated copy for the new server version, if you like Whitts.
Hey0 + MCAdmin would not work out well, if MCAdmin by itself is wigging out.

I ran the same config as Dragon xp that you suggested Duh and it worked great for me as well.

We had a nice run, but I need the RAM and I don't have the time to maintain the server as much as yall want.

I wasn't planning to make the announcement that soon, but I suppose I have to now.

So, here's the situation. Of those who can serve Minecraft (IE, have a spare computer with the requisite power), none of them save Whitty have the requisite connection speed. For a short time (approximately two weeks from today), I can host from my dorm room over Hamachi, but then winter break sets in. Same story for Bentus.
Our options are as follows:
1. Find one of you (or one of your friends) who has both the hardware and the connection to host. I can provide the expertise.
2. Purchase an external hosting service and ask for donations (running costs are minimal, approximately $12 USD a month for a maximum of 10 concurrent users).
3. Purchase better internet service.

These are also listed in order of preference.

I'd be happy to host over the winter break.
That's when we get new and better internet connection.

I'm considering getting a multiplay server.

DragonXP and anyone else who's thinking of hosting, run this three times, and post the results here. Like Duh said, the big factor is going to be connection speed.

I'm not thinking about it, but just for asking sake... Is 16 minute 800 mb download and 11 minute 35 mb video clip upload good compared to you guys?
