Essentially, they've had about 2 millenniums to breed the finest possible naturally-enhanced warriors ever etc. Their bodies are pumped full of hormones and steroids and the like, and over time they've rapidly evolved (DUE TO THE GRADE-A-MAGIC ACCELERATED GROWTH HORMONES THEY ALL HAVE) to the point where their endocrine systems naturally secrete enough of these combat aids to overdose an elephant.
