Yes, like all forums, eventually this one will come to an end. I'm guessing in the next year or so. Falling Sand Game Forums, Wyrdysm Games Forums, and many more have already died. Wyrdysm is slowly dying and its noticable. As you can see, this one is starting to. I'm just warning you about it, not trying to troll or such.

People were saying stuff along these lines way before I signed up. If it's dying like you say it is, then it's one heck of a slow death.

My predictions: the forum is going to receive a sudden surge of life somwhere early december.
One thing tho, DRLFF got a pretty strong community core, so even if most people go away, the forum will be kept alive.

Forums have been much worse, this is relatively active, et cetera.

Not sure what the point of this thread is.

We do have more regular posters per day than one-off people. That's important for a community.

I think sam has just lost his community spirit is all.

There will be love, there will be hate- there will be a million new little mod threads playing with whatever new mechanic is made public in the next build, and another few dozen devoted to getting old mods working again.

I, for one, will keep making mods at my own pace for CC, disregarding of when the next build is arriving.

Of course I'll want to see what the new stuff can do, but that doesn't mean I'm going to hold anything off until then. If I get something working, I release it.

I forgot about the update! If the update does what I think it will, then the forum should die off in about 3 years unless more updates continue. If more updates continue, then the forum should hold up for a long time untill the game is finished. Then it will continue to survive a while until it inevitably comes to an end like all things.
