Seriously. Don't write down your passwords, and make it something long and difficult to guess. If you have to, make up a string of random words.

EDIT: A quick summary:
Dev built a back door into the software that allowed him to do three things,
1. Not ever be banned or kicked from a server running his software
2. Assume admin powers on said server
3. Remotely disable MCAdmin
The dev has since apologized and said he removed the back door. Community is still up in arms about it (apparently this all happened within the last day or so).

yea the owner made a backdoor, banned someone for banning the owner from a server that uses MCAdmin.
basicly it could be a security breach, seeing as how a griefer with knowhow can hack into the backdoor, therefore making any server submit to his whim.

That is, the dev got on a server and was banned by the server admin, who was in turn banned by the dev from his own server. I'm unsure as to whether the dev then shut down the server or not but that seems to be the rumor.

I have secured my account with a superlock password that I type in a way that will trick keyloggers.

I am rather sure that a keylogger was never the problem, it was just that people could control entire servers, if not networks, or servers (as in global ban list etc) by having the information on the backdoor.

IS it still happening?! Please unban me from the server. I bet its griefed.
