Bubbles
BubblesSince you guys have given me great feedback on the Mod Manager, I'd like you to check out this project that I (and a friend) have been working on for a while now. In a nutshell: CrazyMLC wrote: Well, basically you have a large blank wall and you can post text, images, RSS feeds, and chats on there It's a little bit like yourworldoftext, a little bit like a website builder, a little bit like a "social networking(!)" app. It's hard to classify it. It doesn't have a set purpose, but it can serve many purposes. A feed reader works well for me. You'll understand more if you look at it. Anyway, have fun, try to break it (tear it to shreads, I don't care): Bubbles

Got this error when clicking through comment alerts: Code: Message:Alert not owned by user or does not exist. Code:0 File:C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2\bubblesbeta\includes\api\profile.php Line:379 Trace: #0 C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2\bubblesbeta\includes\apiSite.php(35): API_Profile->DeleteAlert(Array) #1 C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2\bubblesbeta\includes\apiSite.php(12): APISite->ProcessAPICall() #2 C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2\bubblesbeta\index.php(21): APISite->Render() #3 {main} Also, you might want to make the buddies button show a 'You have no friends! ;_;' popup, as I thought it just wasn't working until I accepted some requests.

Re: Bubbles
How would I embed a video? I want to get people to see my Youtube account.

Re: Bubbles
Well an entire youtube account seems a bit much, but the embed code on the video page copies nicely into an HTML bubble.

Re: Bubbles
Hahaha I'm watching Barnox make a page. Every time I press F5, he's changed something.
A testament, I think, to the power of Bubbles.

Re: Bubbles
Bwah? How are you watching me?! Also, pretty cool. One sad thing: I can't have it automatically bring up the most recent image in a webcomic. Also: A window that opens different things based on it's tabs. Think: Firefox tabs. Say, Tab #1 is DRL Devlog, Tab#2 is Webcomic RSS...
Edit: Also: SnapTo for windows, toggleable? Background grid, toggleable? Window colours? Although it has a nice minimalist look, customisation could be nice. Although, it might end up like a Piczo eyerape.

Re: Bubbles
I just keep refreshing your page. Even when you're changing it, we can still see you.

The reason this wasn't included was because of so many godawful myspace pages, where you could customize that stuff. I'm guessing that Piczo allowed that same thing. One idea I've been throwing around is to have themes to choose from, that don't look awful.

Re: Bubbles
On Piczo you could post and move around pictures, links, words... it ended up a multicolour shitfest. Themes sound good. Plain colour headers (like what is blue now), gradiented colours... can't think of anything else that wouldn't end up godawful. I just thought of the tabs so I could keep all my hypothetical RSS feeds in one bubble, but can tab between them.
