Who said we're content waiting for a year between updates?

And updating a game as complex as Cortex Command can take weeks of work. Writing up a roll takes about an hour.

Different standards. Hyper has proven, for the most part, to be a competent and fairly punctuational DM. Data, on the other hand, has always been slow and unconnected with the community. So we have different standards.
