Re: Lava Gun [Modding Theme Contest Entry: No Lua Gun]
Have the "sulfur" have different mopixels with different colors, making it more interesting to look at when it has settled.

Re: Lava Gun [Modding Theme Contest Entry: No Lua Gun]
I love this gun! Only problem is- It doesnt seem to kill the guys too quickly. Think about it, if you get your face sprayed with molten lava, im sure you would die pretty soon And make another gun where the lava takes longer to settle so you can do sweet stuff like dig a hole with the digger and fill it with lava

Just not too noticeable. trystanr wrote: And make another gun where the lava takes longer to settle so you can do sweet stuff like dig a hole with the digger and fill it with lava Not possible.

Re: Lava Gun [Modding Theme Contest Entry: No Lua Gun]
Maybe so, but it solidifies into a single color solid putty. Not nice.

It nearly kills instantly at point blank range. You have to find a range which suits you, any range where the ground doesnt light on fire anymore once the lava touches the floor is much too far. It is a flamer of sorts, and flamers are meant for semi close range without it being a melee fight.

You can't make very convincing liquids in Cortex. The best you can do is area-liquids, and those have to be put in at the bunker-building phase. Trying to do it with particles is just asking for pain.

Well, I was thinking and couldnt you recolour blood and make its life longer so it doesnt solidify. Or concrete thats still wet?

The way these particles work doesn't achieve a satisfactory result.
