Re: Roll To Dodge - Blue
Your group is standing on the beach of Goodpants' island. Overhead, the shield lazily pulses green, and the sounds of combat and explosions can occasionally be heard, muffled by the shield. Dominating the island is a rocky mountain, with a cliche skull face carved into its front. A thin forest rings the foot of the mountain, and smooth earth covered with long grass make up the ground between the group and the mountain. Set into the mouth of the skull, hidden by shadow, is a gleaming metal door.

Hyperkultra wrote: with a cliche skull face carved into its front. Should that be a smiley face, considering that is the good guy afterall, if I remember correctly the actual plot behind this is that he is trying to solve world hunger. Looks like the good guys are the bad guys.

@Caek: Goodpants is eccentric. And secretly a deranged goodguy who is just working for "THE GREATER GOOD".

Re: Roll To Dodge - Blue
Ditch my invisibility for Berserker Rage. Adds a +1 to roll, but can only be used every other turn, or tires me out, or something.

EDIT: OK never mind my stupidity, just realized MLC's action was nullified by game events.

Originally I had quoted this: CrazyMLC wrote: *sigh* "Every time, I tell you." > Lift up a pillar of earth below Tomaster to lift him up to the surface. | But MLC posted it before Hyper's game events, and the game events kind of made that action useless, so yeah.

Re: Roll To Dodge - Blue
Much awaited roll.
CrazyMLC [2]: "Wow. She's terrifying. Tomaster, come here. We can't have you all burned up." He shuffles over; moving on his feet is obviously uncomfortable with his burns. You try to use Healing Light on Tomaster, but it fails like it did inside the Spires. The shield must somehow be blocking part of the sunlight so that you can't use the light that does pass through. "Damnit! I am never going to get a damn break with this Healing Light!" 2/2 Active Abilities: - Perfected Elemental Kinesises (Fire, Air, Water, Earth, Light, Electricity) --- #-Point Star --- Kinetic Trance --- Healing Light 2/2 Passive Abilities: - Mythical Power - Photosynthetic Regeneration 3/4 Inventory: - Gold Gauntlets (Right: Wiffles' Orb | Left: Pure Electric Orb) - Nautical Shiv - Impurities --- 2 small Diamonds --- Small amount of precious metal --- Crystallized Insanity 2/2 Equipped: - DecaBow - DecaBow Quiver Injuries:
Tomaster [2-1=1]:MLC calls you over and attempts to heal you, but fails. He says something about light, but you aren't really listening. The calm glow of the shield has you hypnotized. It's so mesmerizing. You think you could just stare at it all day, and forget all your worries... When you awaken from your stupor, your mind feels oddly blank, as if the shield made your forget how to do things. ODD. 1/2 Active Abilities: - Super Reflexes (+1 to anything involving reflexes, activate automatically) 2/2 Passive Abilities: - Wing (+1 if flying) - Super Strength (+1 to any rolls involving strength, moderate protection from impacts) 4/4 Inventory: - 1 BLKBST Syringe Cartidge (40 Syringes) - 1 Mostly Harmless Syringe Cartridge (25 Syringes) - Butterscotch (Kitten) - ShadowKiller's Skull 2/2 Equipped: - WolfHunt --- Butenko Raisen --- Piercer of the Heavens --- Blue Screamer --- Safeguard - Force Amplifiers (+1 to any rolls involving strength) Injuries: - Burned (-1 to rolls)
Foa [3]: Staggy lets you off on the island, and you look around a bit. Aside from the skull on the mountain, this place isn't too bad. You mill around the area, waiting for the others to do something. 0/2 Active Abilities: 0/2 Passive Abilities: 2/4 Inventory: - HIGH-SPEED HANDCANNON - 4 Mags for LadyKillers (Current Mags: 16|16) 2/2 Equipped: - Fedora - LadyKillers (Dual Kickass Desert Eagles) Injuries: - Sore (-1 to physical actions, lasts 1 turns)
Ragdollmaster [4]: You concentrate on Durendal, attempting to call the hopefully still electrically charged knife back to you, through the shield. You don't feel anything happening... But suddenly, across the water, a tiny hole appears in the shield, and a raucous cacophony bursts through the hole for the moment before it is resealed. Durendal skips across the water, then jumps onto the land and lands at your feet. :D 2/2 Active Abilities: - Mega Electrokinesis - Ethereal Wings 0/2 Passive Abilities: - Tesla Coil (Generates Electricity) [1 Unit] 4/4 Inventory: - Satchel --- Whistle --- Orange Smoke Flare --- A Fake Mustache - Keyring - Flask of "Sunshine" - Carved Obsidian Key menacing with Spikes of Donkey Leather 1/2 Equipped: - Durendal Injuries: - Missing right hand
dhart5000 [6]: You walk over to the edge of the water, and dip your hand in. It feels weird, very tingly. Like there's waves of electricity zapping into your hand. You pull your hand back out and look at it, and are surprised to see that the few seconds you had it in made it all pruny! Your Hydro Regeneration increased its effectiveness, but at an extreme level. Stay in the water for too long, and you run the risk of becoming waterlogged. 2/2 Active Abilities: - Bullettime (+1 to rolls, +2 to combat rolls, can use every other turn) - Thermokinesis 1/2 Passive Abilities: - Super Agility - Fast Hydro Regeneration (Heals injuries, can waterlog) 0/4 Inventory: 0/2 Equipped: Injuries:
Barnox [3]: You explore your body and abilities a bit, and stumble upon your Umbriantic Regeneration. Fancy word. You don't really know how it works though, since you didn't invent it, so you can't improve it. This might be a problem... Maybe HEN has some residual memories that you can use? 1/2 Active Abilities: - Cryokinesis 1/2 Passive Abilities: - Umbriantic Regeneration 0/4 Inventory: 1/2 Equipped: - Cryolight (BlueMetal Halberd) Injuries:
Game Events: "Come on, we don't have much time." "What's going on? What was wrong with Blue?" "Rage. Rage got loose, and now the only thing preventing it from ripping this island apart to get at Goodpants are the drones and turrets annoying her. Yes, annoying. They don't have a chance in hell against her, but at the rate Rage will burn through energy, she might just run out before she beats them all. If that happens, the remainder will swarm us." "That's... bad. So what do we do?" "Go down into Goodpants's lair." Fiona walks over to the door in the skull's mouth, and instead of trying to open it with a keycard or something, shoots the door with her Railsniper. The doors explode backwards into the fortress, bent to hell. "I brought a key." You all walk into the cold metal halls of the fortress. The path in front of you forks, one path going to the left, the other going straight.

If Fiona takes one hallway, then take the other one, and try to get someone to follow me.
