Umm, why is there and extra -1?

I was shellshocked from hitting the water. It's legit.

Given that the -1 from the Burned is negated, I'd assume it's the weight of Force Amplifiers and the weight of WolfHunt.

Yep.

Well that negation didn't apply last roll, so I still got the Burned and Shellshocked modifier.

Finishing roll.

In front of the group, where they would all have expected an island to be, there is a large, slightly transparent, softly glowing green dome.
"But...But..."
"All three generators were destroyed! How the hell did he make a Gyro Drive that big?!"
The rollers are beginning to get concerned. MLC flies up to the two ladies to question them about the situation.
"I thought you said there were only three generators, and that they were all destroyed..."
"There were, and there are. I don't know how, but Goodpants made another. He shouldn't have the ability or knowledge of how to do so, but he did. ♥♥♥♥!"
Blue sits down on the air, deep in thought. She stays there while Fiona hovers over towards the shield and examines it.
A few minutes pass with nothing else happening, then Fiona finishes her examination, and has Fred float back over towards the three of them.
"Well?"
"Good news. The shield is weaker than with one of my generators. He must not have been able to replicate the technology as well as I thought. We might be able to break through."
"Lapis Lazuli?"
"Probably our best bet."
MLC is confused.
"Lapis what?"
"A sword of deconstruction. The shield is naturally resistant to most energy attacks, so I'll need to use something special."
She puts her hand out, and particles of energy collect out of the air into her hand, forming into the winged blue broadsword she used to cut the red tornado in half. She holds it at her side, then turns towards the shield, face set in grim determination.
She doesn't notice a stone island on the outside of the shield open up, or a large turreted gun emerge. Fiona does though. She also sees it pointed at Blue.
"♥♥♥♥! CANNON!!!"
"What?! SAFEGUA-
The cannon fires.

Instead of a shell or projectile, the cannon fires a white hot beam of energy up at Blue. Safeguard only manages to get halfway up before the attack slams into it. Blue's shield holds until the beam starts emitting a sound. A high pitched keening screech, not unlike a scream. In the moment after the scream starts, MLC and Ragdoll drop out of the air, Stagroth shoots underwater, abandoning Foa, Frederic roars in pain, and Blue's shield fails. The beam of energy washes over her, and immediately after ceases.
The cannon is emitting a trail of smoke and venting heat out from its base. Blue is hanging in midair, panting heavily. Her jacket is gone except for a torn left sleeve, and she's shaking in midair, as if struggling just to stay up.
"B-bastard..."
Fiona is still staring at the cannon in shock, barely registering the fact that Blue was just beaten by a base defense.
"He stole the Screamer. He can negate Blue. No..."
A small hatch on the top of the turret opens up, revealing a lens. It starts projecting an image up into the air in front of everyone. A huge screen, with a man's head and shoulders displayed, grinning wide.
"So. You've arrived at my humble abode. And yet, you display every sign of discourtesy you can think of. Tsk tsk. And after everything I've done for you..."
"♥♥♥♥!"
"Now now, that's no way to speak to someone at the controls of the only weapon that can hurt you."

The cannon charges again, a glow appearing in its barrel.
"RUN, NOW!"
Blue doesn't respond, she just hangs there. It doesn't seem like she even heard Fiona.
The cannon fires straight at Blue. This time, she doesn't even bother to put up a shield. The beam closes in on Blue, hits her, and forks apart as if cut in half. Then, it explodes at the spot where it hit Blue, concealing the area in a haze of heat and energy.
"Hmm?"
Goodpants doesn't look like he expected this.
Fiona's voice calmly rings out from the cloud, brimming with authority and command.
"I reject."
The cloud immediately clears, and Fiona is floating in midair in front of Blue. She has a pair of huge wings; great feather-like panels of white light, suspended in a lacy lattice, with a few arching bone white extensions serving as the backbone for the wings. In her right hand, she holds a long sword, pointed toward the turret that fired the second beam. Behind her, Frederic supports Blue, no longer even trying to stay airborne.
"I will not allow you to lay another finger on her. I will allow you to desecrate my technology and my power with your filthy methods, but hurt her and you answer to me."
"Ohoho, the cat shows her fangs! But do you believe that I only have one turret? Do you really believe I would be so simple?"
Fiona scowls as more small islands raise out of the water, and more turrets extend out from the islands like the first.
"But I digress. Before anything else, I think your pawns have a right to the truth."
Blue looks up, visibly perturbed.
"No."

Goodpants continues, enjoying Blue's distress.
"Oh yes, she's been leading all of you on for pretty much this whole time. She explained her plans to me a long time ago, back when I hired her."
"Shut up."
"No...No..."
He continues, clearly enjoying this.
"You'd be surprised how much they've both kept from you, such as the fact that Fiona actually has abilities as well. A well known scientific genius and CEO of an explosively successful corporation? I was astounded, but it all made sense."
"Shut up!"
"Oh, but that's not the most interesting part. There are far better secrets I know. For instance, I am sure that you'll all be interested in learning the Blue Demon's name."
Both Fiona's and Blue's eyes widen.
"YOU SHUT YOUR MOUTH!"
Blue's voice is raspy and weak, but desperate.
"You wouldn't. You can't."
Goodpants feigns shock.
"Whaaat?! You mean you REALLY haven't told them?"
He gives a cruel laugh.
"Well then, I'll just do it for you. I can explain quite a bit actually, and then I'll let them all have a piece of you when they despise you for what you've done to them all!"
He can barely contain his glee. Goodpants takes a deep breath, then slowly speaks the next sentance, savoring every word.
"Don't!"
"Blue's real name..."
"No!"
"the one she doesn't want you to know..."
"NO!"
"iiiiis...."
"DON'T YOU ♥♥♥♥ DARE SPEAK MY NAME!!!"
Blue screams, drowning out anything Goodpants tries to say. He tries to continue, but before he can, Blue dives down to the turret projecting the screen. The turret fires at her mid dive, but she merely puts her fist forward and plows effortlessly through the beam, and smashes into the turret, utterly destroying it.
Blue then leaps straight up out of the wreckage, and kicks the barrier hard enough to create a sonic boom. Cracks spread across the glowing green surface of the shield, and Blue follows up with a punch, shattering the shield in the area she attacked.
"♥♥♥♥! Everyone come one, we're going in!"
"What about-"
"Rage can handle it, come on!"
Fiona leads the way, diving into the hole in the shield Raging Blue created, followed by the six rollers, Stagroth, and Frederic. The hole seals itself as a pulse from the shield washes over it, and Blue's screams of rage are muffled out.

The team has penetrated the island of Senior Goodpants.
The final stretch has begun.

Oh my. Three whole reserved posts. This must be a whopper.
