I consider Ben and Rage Ben to be the same entity, just two different faces of said entity.

Rage is fundamentally different from Ben. Without Rage, Ben would be mostly the same, just unable to get to the same levels of ultra-pissed. Everyone has a Rage, not just Benpasko. Ben's just happened to also have access to Telekinesis, and knew how to make the most of it.

I think me and Tomaster would have pretty badass Rages due to having Durendal and Wolf Hunt respectively.
