8x8 pack in the making :3 (that's mushroom trees btw)

I currently have the realism mod installed, I think (Not sure that's the correct name), it's very nice, but I've got eyes on the Steampunk mod. And will probably download it when I get my hands on the mod manager.

Also, the halloween upadate is looking gloriously hellish.

the painterly pack is quite awesome, but I disliked some of the items, here's my edit:

The only things I have done from scratch myself are the gold weapons, though I've edited the original cactus, dirt and cobblestone and I've edited some of the painterly pack stuff and there's some stuff from the RPG texture pack, resized and edited. There's also the pink tree leaves which I like from some other random texture set.

I need to edit the chests and work bench but CBA to do that yet.

Just got on, Good server, lots of eye candy but it seems like you guys are Creative players, not survival. If ya are up for some Survival when its fixed on the 31stt though, I'm all over it.

Well we can't exactly play survival if it hasn't been made yet, now can we?

I was just pointing out that you guys are mostly freebuilding, with little to no survival.

I play on a few servers that have runecraft (For its fireblade mod) or, just carry around a flint and steel and its pretty fun survival if you turn on mobs. the trick is to kill creepers before they see you. >.>

Dude, true survival doesn't work yet.
We don't even have health! YOU CAN'T EVEN DIE!

Not to mention killing things with fire is dangerous and boring.


We do gather, but most of the OPs or Admins are too lazy and abuse the give command.

Uh sorry I just realized this but late last night I stopped the server cuz I was in need of some large amounts of RAM and I guess I never turned it back on.

Also, Duh, how does one install texture packs?

By following this tutorial.

Short version:
Find your minecraft.jar, open it with 7zip, dump in contents of texture pack.

Or download the minecraft mod installer, which will do it for you without having to find the minecraft folder and will also allow you to revert back if you don't like the texture pack.

I'm moving everything from my 1TB HDD to my primary drive. I'm moving a lot of stuff around (my HDD is making funny noises) in case anything happens, and it may make things run a bit faster too.
