Re: The Gamepad, Cortex Command, and You.
i use a logitech dual-action gamepad (i.e., the cheap, PC-equivalent of the best game system gamepads).
i also play the game on 1280 x 768 (true widescreen) with my optoma projector displaying it against my apt wall. the view is even better than the theater experience, so i like to lay back on the hardwood floor with a headrest and play it with a gamepad. keyboard and mouse would require me to build a custom 'breakfast tray', which i have little motivation to do ATM.
(there're lots of games that don't support true widescreen, so it's a huge treat that CC does)

Quote: No, I never use a gamepad to play Cortex Command. I tried to select this option and it wouldn't let me.

Polls are broken. Just like badges. We won't dwell on signatures here.
Ontopic - I always use mouse + keyboard. Technically, it's trackpad + keyboard, but whatever.

I never got used to controllers, they're just too much of a hassle to aim properly.

You forgot to mention that if player one has keyboard, and player two uses the gamepad. Player one can't sharp aim while player two is sharp aiming, and player two can always sharp aim.

Polls, ♥♥♥♥♥es.
Also, I would say no, but that would be a lie. I played with the gamepad over the interwebs on Enforcer's rooms, so...

:/
It's not like people are playing it on anything other than a computer.
I'm using gamepads when playing with a friend or when I just feel like it. When I'm not feeling like using a gamepad or debugging stuff, I'm using sgt. maus and keyboard.

I think he's talking about the mouse - which is a device only available to computer users and not to consoles - and it's ability to be an efficient pointing device. Now: I play CC with keyboard + mouse, but only because of the fact that I do not own a gamepad. I will be getting a gamepad solely for this game, since it would make multi-player a good deal easier, and I actually believe that CC aiming would be best suited to an analog-stick, since the cross-hair(or equivalent, in this case) doesn't persist, making the mouse clumsy at times.

Two things are not true in this post. There are mouse controllers for both the x360 and the ps3, and aiming with the gamepad is shear terror. The mouse offers a lot more control in most situations, which is best described by the way my best friend aims: with his jetpack!
