Signatures
Not that I ever had one, but what happened to them?
Also, what happened to all the admins?

Re: Signatures
We aren't allowed to have sigs until the forum allows them to be disabled by default.
Seeing as how we no longer have a technically inclined admin, that means we should see sigs back in about, never.

Re: Signatures
It should allow them to be disabled by default though.. Though I can't find it in the ACP <_<
Why not make a phpbb style that doesn't render the signatures section? Hacky fix, but at least you can set a default style easily enough.

Re: Signatures
No, they work fine. Weasel re-disabled them again after TLB or Zalo re-enabled them. They were enabled by default before Weasel came, and in the course of his community management decided he did not want them and disabled them. Relevant topic here.

Re: Signatures
Last I knew, it was because he believes they serve no other purpose than selfish primping that adds more to moderate. Specifically: Weasel wrote: Sigs are self-serving, repetitive, annoying, and/or boring. It makes pages longer than they should. They look visually really messy and rarely conform with the site. It's another thing to moderate.
