Re: The Red Legion (Economy mod contest)
I love this mod but I would love to see some more arcane magic based weapons. As a suggestion for being half machine and half undead by arcane magic their wounds, sounds, and effects seem pretty run of the mill I would like to hear a demonic scream and robotic hiss as the big one dies and if their head is removed the wound leak red glowing particles that float up all evil like. Right now they look cool but are lacking in the smaller details (also jet pack effects) that can add a lot to a mod! I hope this stuff can be addressed in a update soon, I see this could becoming the next big mod!

Re: The Red Legion (Economy mod contest)
A nice, fresh faction ready for CC. Sprites are fairly detailed for their size. Shading is nice, and they have a distinctly rugged, Russian look to them, which also fits. Haven't tried out the actors yet, but including pre-loaded ones helps in frantic skirmishes or when you feel lazy. Still using the old version, so no craft, but from what I see they are very well sprited and carry on the rugged, tough look of the weapons. The only thing I don't like is how the bayonets can possibly destroy your dropship once the soldier holding the weapon touches the side, but that's a problem with many bayonets, if not all. Solid mod.

Re: The Red Legion (Economy mod contest)
Did you sprite these off the browncoats? If so, they are still good enough to be alled origanol.

The Legs, Fur hat and Feet are based of browncoats. Thanks. EDIT: I found the poster!

Never buy a unit with a bayoneted weapon as the first equip, because it makes ship go boom!

Re: The Red Legion (Economy mod contest)
I have to admit this make me go and play CC again, really good mod my only complaint would be the high prices of the units, being a entry for the economic mod contest make me thought it was a cheap army but is okay the sprites and the weapons are good specially the bayonets
cheers

The Economic part is the upgrades that you can get on the weapons, like the scopes, bayonets and extended mags. Quote: I have to admit this make me go and play CC again, really good mod
Thanks!

Re: The Red Legion (Economy mod contest)
Major, nice poster. I like it. It would be interesting to see the battle dead of the Soviet Union and the dead Reich (if any mod you would want to do). Just when it seems the living dead in World War II, I remember it was German troops, not Soviet.

Re: The Red Legion (Economy mod contest)
Activity made. An assault on Bunker 38 in the campaign menu.
EDIT: Updated again.
An officer and a brain have been added. That crab has been commented out, forgot to do it untill now. I might fix it in the future.

Major wrote: Really, the nitpicking's fine, it only helps me improve. Good to know you have some sense in you, and that you can take harsh criticism. Initial impression of the mod is good. The actors seem slightly badly shaded, and aren't very readable. The crafts look like blobs of tan metal and could use some more color variation. Just as a warning, I'm reviewing the current version as-is, whether you're ready or not.
