The flamethrower allows you to almost instaswitch to another weapon.
It's useful together with shotgun and homewrecker, since you can then light people on fire, send them up in the air, then shotgun them to death.

I still haven't found a single new weapon or hat. I've gotten eight or nine drops (I guess they increased the weekly limit?). Two were crates. One was the duel minigame. The rest were repeat weapons. I traded the first crate for the Sniper's new shield, which my friend then traded me for L'Etranger. I'm attempting to trade the second crate for a Holy Mackeral or Your Eternal Reward.
Regardless, I'm still pissed that I don't have any new weapons

I like how everyone is saying the GRU are useless - they don't seem to get the fact that they're made to be used while being healed by a medic. They build uber faster, you get to the battlefield faster it's a win-win.

Finally got the Your Eternal Reward in a trade. That thing is great. Also, I found the Black Box, which is neat. Also the Degreaser, but I don't really play Pyro.

Yeah GRU is ridiculously useful. You get to the battle faster than the non-jumping sollies and demos and heal back up immediately with the health packs that nobody has a use for yet. Even if you can't take a pack, you end up as a more powerful force than most other people there.

I love how absolutely nobody can pronounce "L'Etranger".

Nobody gets it when I randomly shoot corpses with it during setup time and humiliation with it either.
