Then we got weasel, and another twelve promises appeared. And nothing happened. Wait a minute, so CC48 is officially a content dev or is this just a joke? I never heard anything about it nor no one ever said anything. If it is true, then this is really good news. We will defenetly need his skills. If you need some further info, CaveCricket48, you can PM me so I can explain whats going on right now with the developement and what to do next.

Re: Forum activity
Numgun, TLB says Data pretty much just has to e-mail CaveCricket with the info, link to SVN, all that junk so he can start.
Of course, it seems like Data has been taking his sweet time doing it.

Disappearing seems to be Data's favorite pastime.

Re: Forum activity
Data and I chatted (today!) and now all I have to do is sign + send some legal docs and I'll be official.
Just hang in there a little longer guys!

Re: Forum activity
In response to where I spend most of my time? Lurking the main boards or posting my always-awaited rolls in OT. Don't have much time to mod, but I can do an OK job if it doesn't require masses of code or Lua. I'm Lua Illiterate.
But I think the main point the community ♥♥♥♥♥es about no updates is because there is no understanding of where Data is at with development. Take Notch's blog/twitter for example. An update every week at the least, and not a software one, a written one:
"Hi guys I can't do much programming today due to a dentist appointment"
If Data could tell us, in simple enough terms, why B24 is being postponed, then I'm cool with that. As long as he posts again in the fortnight after THAT to say that he's done *this* little thing in the engine, et cetera.

Re: Forum activity
It's being postponed? They already have a release date?

Erm, no, I just wrote postponed because that's what it seems. Don't read into it too much

I don't post much because I don't play very often and I don't play very often because certain other people don't post very much either.

Re: Forum activity
I have a shitty little mod I should be working on, but I'd rather play vidjahgaymes that don't require intensive .ini coding.

Re: Forum activity
You sure hold your mod in low esteem. I'm working on an entry for the mod contest, if that counts as activity...

Re: Forum activity
The forum just needs something fresh and original. [including B24] Something that will just blow you away.
