Yeah, but like, why do they do what they do? If they just make things go BOOM when I punch, then that isn't very useful. If they channel the energy from the orbs, well, that's very useful. I want to know how useful these gauntlets really are.

Especially incase of going past a small fire? Or extended duration out in the sun?

Ok, rolling.

CrazyMLC[4]: You get a really stupid idea.
You walk over to Blue, and grinning, go down to your knees in front of the rock she's sitting on.
"Wanna arm wrestle?"
She grins the same as you.
"Oh hell yes."
You both get on opposite sides of the stone. Her lithe girl arm against your athletically muscled arm. At the count of three, you both push with all your might at each other, and somehow she matches your strength.
"Not bad. I didn't expect you to not lose immediately. So I guess I'll actually USE MY FULL STRENGTH!"
You push down five times as hard, and Blue's arm is pushed down to within an inch of the stone in her surprise. Then, it stops and holds yours up, quivering from the herculean effort.
"Not bad, not bad. But who said I was going at full either? LOCK 5!"
Immediately, her right arm transforms itself, the jacket sleeve transmuting into the arm of the white dress she was wearing earlier.
"Oh holy shi-"
The entire boulder shatters into pieces as Blue slams your arm down on the stone.
"I win!"

Since you weren't looking, you trip over the exact same rock that you tripped over before. You go sprawling in the exact same way. And you bloody your nose again, exactly in the same way.
MLC thinks this is funny, but Blue, knowing that you already did the exact same goddamn thing, finds it to be hilarious.

Game Events: The airplane, without a pilot to keep it pointed upwards, quickly nosedives into the water, making a huge, spluttering splash, then sinking down into the depths. A man in a parachute slowly sinks down towards the water, slowed by a lucky wind pushing his parachute upwards.

Get up and ask what the f is happening. While doing that,Gain passive ability, Umbriantic Regeneration(Regenerates in darkness, the more dark it is, the more I regenerate.
Also, CARP!!!!!
