Usually, your own mental safeguards will prevent you from letting your Rage loose.

Firstly, Ben didn't choose to let Rage out. Someone (I believe wiffles) went in and accidentally let Rage out, and was only able to do so because Ben's mental defenses were lowered by Deception's fleeing. Deception isn't as heavily guarded, so that's why wiffles was able to get it out in the first place.
Secondly, who says you'd be a match for Blue then? Rage was powerful because Ben had telekinesis, and because he got lucky. I can't say the same for any of you, but it is possible. More importantly, there's not a chance in hell that any of you could subdue Rage if let loose.

Wow, everybody posted their actions surprisingly fast :v

PS Hyper, if we get in major ♥♥♥♥, are there any chances of a deus ex machina, the way that Blue and Die showed up to help fight Rage? Honestly, even with Durendal, we will be quite hard pressed to fight Blue.

You're on your own for this one, but you collectively have the resources to win. Godspeed gentlemen, because I'll be cheating at every chance I get.

Any tips for me? Im managing my own RtD aswell.

Im starting to think that bringing back Rage whould only work as a 'Last option left' decision.

:-(

I wouldn't mind adding in some RTD2 prequel references here, as a heads-up. It may foreshadow some stuff to come in RTD2, but it'd probably be awesome nonetheless. Maybe another NPC that sticks around for a few turns?

Anyways, ignore my ramblings, it's your RTD :P

Bringing back Rage to fight Blue is like setting off a nuclear bomb in your own house because a robber forced his way in.

But you're armed with Mecha-piercing bullets, right?

Post Re: Roll To Dodge - Blue BOSS: BLUE DEMON
Rolling.

CrazyMLC[3]: "MLC! Use Durendal, light is faster than electriciTEEE!"
Mid-word, Blue swoops through the air and slams into Ragdoll. You run after her, intending to attack while her back is turned. Without saying anything, you draw your arms back and charge the elements in your gauntlets, then thrust your hands forward at Blue. Somehow, she senses you, and spins around when you're a few feet away. Her equally armored hands shoot forward and block yours, causing the laser energy and electricity from your gauntlets to discharge out from between them. The ground is sundered in a ragged line running between you and Blue, and she grins.
"Gonna need to try a lot harder than that."
She then lets go of your right hand, and grabs your head, slamming you into the stone floor facefirst. The ground around you shatters apart in a spiderweb of cracks from the impact, but you're somehow not injured. It hurt like a ♥♥♥♥, but you have no broken bones, no torn flesh wounds, not even scuffs from the stone.
2/2 Active Abilities:
- Perfected Elemental Kinesises (Fire, Air, Water, Earth, Light, Electricity)
--- #-Point Star
--- Kinetic Trance
--- Healing Light
2/2 Passive Abilities:
- Olympian Power
- Photosynthetic Regeneration
2/4 Inventory:
- DecaBow
- Nautical Shiv
2/2 Equipped:
- Gold Gauntlets (Right: Wiffles' Orb | Left: Electric Orb)
- DecaBow Quiver
Injuries:
- Intense Pain (-2 to next roll)

Tomaster [5]: Seeing Blue tackle Ragdoll, you give a mighty leap into the air and climb to the top of the room. You then, using the electrical energy in WolfHunt, charge it up so that it is literally crackling with electricity, then stop flying. You plummet down through the air, directly at Blue. At the last moment, she realizes that you're there, and crosses her arms above her head to block WolfHunt. The electrical energy discharges into her gauntlets, and the impact of the massive sword, combined with your monstrous strength, actually forces Blue to one knee. You then feel a strange, very powerful energy fill WolfHunt; it feels dark and lethal, as if killing is all it desires.
"How the hell did you get WolfHunt?"
Then, you see JJ charging at Blue behind her back. She sees your eyes flicker, and instantly predicts JJ's attack. Moving her hands, she grabs onto WolfHunt, and flips it over her head onto JJ, dragging you with it. You get slammed down on top of JJ with tremendous force. You're fine, but JJ...

- Butterscotch (Kitten)
2/2 Equipped:
- BlueMetal Platemail (Deflects Elemental attacks)
- WolfHunt

Foa [4]: "Cmon Foa, let's go."
Fearing for your life, you Teleprot up onto the top of the giant sword embedded through the spire, so that you have a good view of the entire battlefield. Blue's really tearing into them...
0/2 Active Abilities:
- Ranged Teleprotation
0/2 Passive Abilities:

- HIGH-SPEED HANDCANNON
- 6 Mags for LadyKillers (Current Mags: 18|18)
2/2 Equipped:

JJA79 [3+1=4]: You lower yourself towards the ground, wielding the Dragon Lance like a jousting lance, and charge towards Blue. Somehow, right before you impale her on your spear, she flips Tomaster over her head and slams his heavy entirety down on top of you. You feel your right arm snap like a twig, but you feel no pain from the injury.
2/2 Active Abilities:
- Ergokinesis (Energy Control, +1 to melee and reflexes)
- Arthrokinesis (Control of joints and muscles)
2/2 Passive Abilities:
- Peak Musculature
- Rapid Bone Regeneration
1/4 Inventory:
- Gem Shards
1/2 Equipped:
- [b]Dragon Lance

Injuries:
- Paralyzed Legs
- Can only speak in Engrish
- Broken Right Arm (Healed on next turn)

ShadoWKilleR255 [4]: "Suck it."
With the Dark Ball, you send spikes of darkness bursting through the stone floor towards Blue. She's just slammed JJ with Tomaster, and she sees the spikes when they're still a ways away. She raises her hand towards where the spikes will burst out of the stone at her, and a shield forms in front of her hand. The shield is made of six elongated pentagons, placed in two triangular formations. The spikes burst up, slam into the shield, and break apart. The spikes all then retreat back into the Dark Ball.
2/2 Active Abilities:
- Precision Mass/Energy Control
- Uncontrollable Thermokinesis
--- COMBO TECHNIQUE: Massively Effective Accelerator Rifle
2/2 Passive Abilities:
- Nanotube Skeleton
- Resting Regeneration
1/4 Inventory:

2/2 Equipped:
- Knuckle Blade
- Dark Ball

Ragdollmaster [1]: "MLC! Use Durendal, light is faster than electriciTEEE!"
As you try to give the dagger to MLC, Blue picks you as her first target. She charges across the floor, moving so fast it's almost as if she's flying across the ground, and slams into you, tackling you across the floor. She then grabs you with her right hand, throws you up in the air, and roundhouse kicks you with her left leg. The force of the kick sends you flying backwards into the solid stone wall, which cracks apart from the massive impact.
2/2 Active Abilities:
- Invisibility
- Electrokinesis
1/2 Passive Abilities:
- Wings
4/4 Inventory:
- Satchel
--- Whistle
--- Orange Smoke Flare
--- Green Gelatin (with Evil Pineapple Chunks)
--- A Fake Mustache
- Keyring
- Flask of "Sunshine"
- Carved Obsidian Key menacing with Spikes of Donkey Leather
1/2 Equipped:
- Durendal (Elemental Dagger)
Injuries:
- Immense Pain (-2 to next roll)

Game Events: Blue jumps into the air, spreading her wings wide, and flies in place in mid air. She puts out her arms at each side, and energy seems to begin to gather around each hand. The energy solidifies into a different shape around each of her gauntlets. On the black, sharp, dangerous gauntlet, thick bladelike claws of black energy solidify above her fingers, flexing with them. Around the gold gauntlet, a halo of yellow-white energy forms, spiraling around it at high speeds. She stays up in the air.

I stick to my statement that Rage just might be your best chance of survival.

Besides, you guys beat him before.

>Fire the flare to blind Blue temporarily and once again try to give Durendal to MLC.

"Hey! You think that hurt? Just a flesh wound, you whor- I mean, you horse!"

Trying to distract Blue but not make her mad enough to accidentally everything.

Also, there might be a cool cameo later, but we will not get any help right now :/
