As someone who lived in Kansas for 6 years, I can safely say that Kansans have the best BBQ and steaks out there, hands down. As for burger places, I actually enjoy Five Guys a lot. They make some pretty good burgers

Living in Canada, it's pretty odd that there's actually a place about two blocks from me called 3 Amigos that's run by actual Mexicans. I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt that they have the best burritos I've eaten. Part of this is that they have some actual flavour - seriously, Taco Bell is mostly grease. I'm not saying they're horrible, but if you've had an actual burrito, you'd know the difference.
Also, Taco Bell gives me the shits, whereas Mexican food I've had from anywhere run by somebody who is actually from Mexico doesn't. This is the main reason I avoid Taco Bell. Call me crazy.

*Sigh* there are none of these even 1000miles away from me.

You Yanks don't have Oporto there, right? Best chicken burgers ever. They have this lovely chilli sauce that's just great. Seriously. If you're ever in a place with one, grab some. Cheap, too.
